This South Padre Island beach house is a comfortable, upscale and beautifully decorated with coastal decor. Offering 6 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms, guests will have plenty of room to relax and unwind while visiting South Padre Island, Tx! This home is located less than 1/2 a block from the beach. Guests will love hanging out in the backyard which features a private heated pool and newly built hot tub! The backyard is a tropical paradise and the perfect place to enjoy time with friends and loved ones.

The living area, kitchen, and dining area are located on the 2nd floor. The dining table fits 6 people comfortably. Our kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, and all the cooking utensils groups will need to prepare that perfect family meal! The living area features ample couch seating and a flat screen tv. Guests will enjoy the huge balcony just off the living area.
The master bedroom is located on the 2nd floor. This room has a comfy king bed and an ensuite master bathroom featuring a new walk-in shower. There is a guest room located on the second floor which has a queen bed. Even in this little corner of paradise, you will not miss your favorite television shows or the big game; the living room and each adult bedroom are equipped with large flat-screen TVs!

The house has 3 additional bedrooms located on the 1st floor. The guest room with a queen bed and the bunk room share a jack and jill bathroom set up with convenient access form each bedroom. Both these rooms are located next to the pool area. The last bedroom is next to the front entrance door and entails a twin bed, couch, tv, and laundry area.

This vacation rental is perfect for a large family or a group of friends. Just a short walk to the beach (5 minutes or less) and you will be on the sandy shoreline of South Padre Island. The whole family will love to spend the day playing in the waves, building sandcastles, and soaking up the warm Texas sun! Nice house. Great location. Not very clean. Rugs need a deep cleaning, vents were filthy and blankets had been washed in some time. This is our 5th stay in Padre and our last visit to this house it was immaculate.

South Padre over Thanksgiving

Great location! Beach and main road with restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. Great space and pool. We had 12 people with plenty of room to spread out. However, for the price, I expect better. Its a little shabby, dirty and some mold. The bed I slept in was not great. We actually went and bought pillows the next day to try and make it better. With all the fees we ended up paying a lot per night and for that price everything should be perfect.

We had a great stay! Close to beach and shopping! I would say to take plenty of bug spray like OFF because the mosquitoes are the size of a small dog! Also take any cleaning supplies to use while you are there...wiping counter tops off, tables after you eat as there is nothing at the house. Also take your own knives, we cut a watermelon with a dull knife because there was no sharpener at the house, we also had to go and buy pizza pans. The grill was a bit dirty and we went and bought foil to use it instead of cleaning it.The walk to the beach was easy and from the top patio you could see the beach! We had so much fun and the weather was great! We had plenty of space for out group of 15 (3 small kiddos). The pool was a bit smaller than I thought it was going to be but the kids LOVED having a place to play after the sun went down or if we were not quite ready to go down to the beach. Wish the upper patio right off the living/kitchen area had some screens to keep the mosquitoes out, we would have used it alot more!

Great Location!

The property was great for the most part. Plenty of room for our family, just a block from the beach, pool was great, the upstairs porch was wonderful. The two complaints I have is the comforters were really dirty, but the sheets were clean, and definitely needs a few updates especially downstairs. Otherwise we had a great time!

Great location but house needs a lot of work

The location is great. Walking distance to the beach. Its actually a 4 bedroom house with two makeshift rooms with poor air quality. Designed for 3 couples and kids. The house needs to be updated. TVs are tiny. Lizards in the laundry room. Water heater could not meet the demands of 13 people. Heat setting in the water heater is set so low that only luke warm water comes out. I understand owners want to save on energy costs, but not at the cost of comfort. Property managers were great and tried to accomodate any needs. Would have been better off staying at a hotel for the amount of money spent.

We loved the house it was everything promised!

We just love South Padre Island ! This was a family vacation and our first time renting a house. Lots of room for everyone and the location was perfect so close to the beach. Modern decor, very easy to feel at home, comfortable beds. Disappointed in the lack of kitchen towels and dish clothes also, had to buy a frying pan one supplied was unusable. The pool was absolutely marvelous our stay was great besides the weather. When dealing with the staff they were friendly and prompt. Would highly recommend this property!

In desperate need of a cleaning.

House was spacious and did accommodate our big group of 15. BUT then comes everything else to start one of the rooms smelt like throw up when we arrived called the next morning and the cleaning crew came in and noticed a red stain on the carpet. They steamed it and smell was gone. Also upon arriving The beds did NOT have clean sheets we had to wash them that night ourselves. We let them know also the next morning cleaning crew came in took the sheets and pillow cases one of the cleaning ladies smelt the Sheets and said “yeah they don’t smell clean”. Also what they don’t tell you is that the game room has no air vent it was super hot in that room only thing they had in there was a fan. It also had no curtains and its window is facing the street. Would’ve been nice to know before we booked. Now to the kitchen if you plan on cooking take your own pots and pans. They had very few and the ones that they did have handles are loose. We had to make a trip to the Walmart and buy some. Kitchen is in desperate need of cleaning, walls are very dirty ceiling is dirty. Carpet in dining room filthy. Restrooms smelt like pee like old penetrated pee. Shower doors dirty. Restroom was filthy. I had to clean them myself. Furniture in need of replacing couches in living room were torn, dining room table chairs are wobbly one was so wobbly my grandma was sitting eating breakfast and it broke while sitting on it. Luckily she’s ok. Furniture outside is falling apart as well. Location of house was close to the beach. Would I stay here again NO. I don’t usually leave reviews but with this one was just way to BAD not to leave one. Only reason I gave it a 2 star is because of the location and because it is roomy.

You look at the place and it’s okay on the outside but the inside upstairs was nice

The greeting was great and we were shown around a bit which we appreciated. The distance from the beach was nice and also walking distance to restaurants and gift shops. Although, we were disappointed with other things in the house. We were told while getting a walk through of the house, that in case either grill was not working properly it could be switched out and we requested it twice but that never happened, the pool was dirty when we arrived and I only saw the pool guy once during our stay. The bathrooms smelled strongly like Urine and I had to go get my own cleaner for the bathroom, but not even that worked so opened the windows to help with the smell, the bottom room with bunks was hot and no ceiling fan, the room goin to the pool has a ceiling fan but only a tiny lamp for light. Although they provide pots and pans I say take your own because the ones there were in bad condition and once our outside trash can was full we took it out but it was never picked up during our stay and smelled so bad. We have been going to SPI for 10 years and I’m sorry to say that this would not be a choice again or a recommendation.

Great vacation home!

We spent a week here in September and it was everything we could've asked for. We had 13 people from infants to adults and it was very comfortable. It's only a short walk to the beach one way and the other is a short walk to several restaurant. The house was clean and furnished nicely. The only thing I would do differently is bring my own grill. The grill at the house is very small and cheap.

Great location to beach BUT house leaves much to be desired

Great location near the beach BUT so many issues with the house, where do I start? For starters, the house is in dire need of a deep cleaning and updating. Living room was extremely dirty and dusty. The ceiling fans were caked with dust. We had to call management to come clean them. They responded right away and did a good job of fixing that issue. The entire house needs updating...bathroom faucets in all bathrooms were difficult to turn on. The upstairs patio area had wood that is so flimsy and old I was fearful of having my two-year old go out there. Many of the furniture is old, dirty and torn. Throw pillows on couch I would not be caught dead trying to lay my head on them. Patio furniture in pool area was broken and very old. Pool needs plastering..but it was nice that it was heated. The pool alarm to the back door and gate are inoperable so very dangerous if you have kids. The bedroom advertised as a 5th bedroom has no AC, so unless you want to punish one of the kids, no one was able to sleep in there, plus there are no window coverings and it is facing the street. The foosball table is flimsy and not usable. The stairs need hand rails especially if you have little kids or elderly family members. There was a baby gate in one of the closets, so that helped. The house was spacious with plenty of closet space. The washer and dryer were a nice plus. The outside shower came in handy when we came back from the beach. And of course the location was excellent. Overall we enjoyed our stay but expected cleaner more updated home for the price we paid.

Bring your own coffee filters, Kleenex, extra toilet paper, and trash bags. This house did not have any for us when my family arrived. The owners must have thought we were rowdy college kids who don't take care of the house while they stay there. Great location close to the beach. We still enjoyed ourselves.

So satisfied with our stay this Labor day weekend. Our family consisted of 13 and we were really comfortable with plenty of room. 5 minutes from the beach and main strip. I would definitely consider this for next time.

Home away from home

We visited August 8 week it was such an awesome stay, the photos don't do the property justice. 11 of us fit comfortable with another room to spare. The pool was very nice, and the home supplies, towels, kitchen items were great. Fireworks visible from the poolside, friendly locals, and close beach entry areas. Everything is literally within 2 mins. We encountered ants upon arrival in some rooms and outside near the back door, the SPI maintenance were very fast to come and spray within the hour. We would definitely stay in this home again on our next family trip.
