Beautiful house & great location!
This is a great house located near (5 minute walk) beautiful National Forest Land hiking & mountain biking trails. Also convenient to all of South Lake Tahoe. We had four adults sleeping separately, which was comfortable in the three bedrooms + loft. We would love to stay again!

Perfect Location
Me and two of my buddies stayed at property for the weekend to do some mountain biking. Property is in perfect location to hit the mountain bike trails. The house is nice and homey. Very clean throughout. Great communication with the property managers. They are very friendly and offered their assistance if we needed it. I would definitely return to this location.

Great spot for some team bonding!
We had a girls soccer tournament in Tahoe and this was perfectly located for easy access to all the fields! Stayed with 3 other teammates and parent! Great times!

lovely quiet neighborhood
Nice property for our party of 7. Host had create communication and were very friendly. Just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of south lake. I would recommend staying there if you needed a peaceful getaway.

SLT a View from the Lake 2023
1st time rent of boat to tour lake and sites, especially emerald bay an fleur de lac estimate. Awesome. Met connections in Carson and Genoa for history collection of 1800s. Been comin here since 1993 for vacations. Sad to see changes over 30 years, but still has its reminiscences of past, you just have to overlook the new and continued challenges short term renters have to overcome. God Bless America and keep SLT, God's Country safe and clean.

Fantastic Tahoe Getaway
This property was perfect and even better than we expected. Dan and Heidi gave us all of the information we needed for a smooth check-in process and answered any messages we sent very quickly. The house was well furnished, the kitchen had everything we needed and the beds very comfortable. We are looking forward to staying here again when we return to Tahoe.

Family's February Snow Vacation
This is our 6th year staying at Thomas' house, and nothing but memories. My boys look toward going to the 'snow' every February. Plenty of memories being made and plenty more to be made. Their house is in a perfect location. There was LOTS of snow this year. Looking forward to next year.

Highly Recommended
Wonderful property in a convenient location. Peaceful and quiet neighborhood, while less than a 10 minute drive to restaurants with 4+ Yelp stars. Very clean and great email communication with the hosts before and during our stay. Five adults and one 3 year old and we had plenty of room. The garage was able to easily accommodate two vehicles. A short walk to High Meadows Road where one can go for a peaceful and not-too-strenuous hike in forested land.

Ski week
My family of four had our first get away in years this past ski week. The property was perfect for us. The house was clean, cozy and warm. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking supplies and made it so easy for us to have our meals there. The neighborhood was beautiful and quiet and we were close to the sledding locations. We would absolutely stay again.

Perfect Family Snow Weekend

We had a blast staying at this house. We were expecting a 3 bed 2 bath but the house does have a loft area that had a extra queen size which worked out perfect for the kids. House was equipped with everything we could have needed. There was a lot of snow so we couldn’t use the patio area but that didn’t bother us. I’m sure the home is just as great in the summer time. But close to everything was a plus for us. Will def book again!

Great cabin home in a beautiful tree-lined setting. We stayed 3 nights and felt so at home in this cabin. It was perfect for us - 4 adults & a baby. My kids took the upstairs and we had the downstairs (king bedroom). The cabin was spotless and the kitchen was fully stocked with anything you might need. Nice to have the garage to park a car in. Weather was gorgeous and we sat outside on the front deck till dusk every night. We put my 11month old grand-daughter in her walker and she had a blast zooming around the deck & driveway. Beds were very comfy and bathrooms had nice soft plushy towels. There was plenty of room for all of us to sit down at the table to eat and sit in the living space to watch tv at night. It was a plus to have a pack-n-play and a high chair available for the baby. My son brought his guitar so we enjoyed just hanging out listening to him play at night. They also brought their mountain bikes and took off right from the cabin to go on a ride/explore. This property was really great (nice quiet neighborhood) and the owners (Dan & Heidi) were so nice and had great communication with me from the time I booked to when we got home (to check how our stay was). I highly recommend this property and would love to go back again.

This home is gorgeous and in a prime location in South Lake Tahoe. The neighborhood is amazing and so spacious! The home is beautiful and all the beds, couches and areas to relax in are wonderful! Our family of four had plenty of space in this rental. We have relatives that live in the neighborhood, so the location was very convenient for us. The house is on a quiet, residential street. The kitchen and bathrooms were very clean. We appreciated the laundry access as a nice perk. Communication with owners was quick and easy. Beds were comfortable, heater was easy to use and warmed things up on the chilly mornings. Bonus: garage access - would be very nice during winter! No complaints here, thanks for a great stay!

Property owners were amazing and responsive. Thanks Heidi for getting right back to us prior to and during our stay with answers to all of our questions. The property is well located near the south shore. We skied at heavenly and it was a short convenient drive. Also, not far from a Safeway grocery store. The kids were able to find one last patch of snow right out the back door of the garage to sled on using the sleds provided in the garage, this was one of their simple highlights of the stay. You don’t get the whole house that is pictured in the advertisement.
The overall experience was great. I chose this residence based on the amazing photos of the outside of this beautiful home but we did not have access to the large space over the garage and the back patio. After checking in, the place was much smaller than I imagined. Later in our stay, I re-read the details and noticed in the fine print that about half of the residence is off limits. I then compared others in the same area and there is another beautiful home that is just as big, but you get the whole residence for only $10.00 more per night. I will choose the other one next time. READ THE FINE PRINT.

We have it listed as a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, not a 4 bedroom, 3 bath. Also, no inside pictures of our lock-off or our private deck are on the VRBO website.

Great Family Vacation
This property was fantastic, I brought my kids and grandkids as their belated Christmas gift of their 1st time to the snow and I wanted everything to be perfect, and that it was! With the warm and inviting atmosphere of this home it made it a pleasure for our 3 night stay. We would have loved to stay even longer. It was a nice bonus for us to be surprised by the loft with an additional bed that the boys could sleep in, with it's little hiding places and nooks. We had a wonderful family vacation!
