This is not the most elegant place in the world, but for an inexpensive night, it was perfect. The room was large. The pillows and mattress were good. There was a bit of a view. It was impeccably quiet, and there is an excellent Mexican restaurant nearby, Ramone's. They sang Happy Birthday to one of their diners in both Spanish and English! Joshua, the guy at the front desk, was helpful and good natured.

Four Seasons Lodge is a great place for a weary traveler, hiker, fisher, etc. to rest their head. It is quiet and quaint with all the basic necessities one would need. I will come again!

the queen room we got is on ground floor at the back. very spacious and clean. the bed is comfortable including the pillows. the flooring is kind of cold despite the heater. it has kicrowave, fridge, coffee maker. bath tub is good for my size. i like the water temperature for cold or hot. lots of towels available. if you will focus on the design, its very simple nad plain which i like. very close to some restaurants and 20 mins away from wolf creek ski. best place to tour nearby. the guy at the counter is very friendly. highly recommended!

Four Seasons Lodge South Fork, CO
Although I really liked the front desk person, the room, bed, TV, location, etc. there were a number of things I discovered that could have used attention: the thermostat seemed to be 10 degrees off, there was a light bulb out, the toilet 'ran' after flushing, no kleenex, and there seemed to be 'carpet tacks' that would poke through the carpet when walking barefoot on it.

This was our second time staying and it was a great stay as well. The room was comfortable, clean, and warm. The only challenge I had was due to being a late check-in, I couldn't find my room in the dark! Was not the lodge's fault, I rang the buzzer and the gentlemen told me where to go. There night check-in procedures are great, but maybe put a map up where late check in's won't have to bother staff if the front office is already closed.

This particular room had some issues. The room wasn’t easy to access and difficult to find at night. Commode didn’t work properly and there were nails sticking up in the floor. But it was quiet, clean, and affordable.

The location, like most lodging in South Fork Co., is along the highway so noise can be an issue. South Fork doesn't have a lot of traffic throughout the night so don't let this location concern you regarding highway noise. Clean room in very good condition. Nice memory foam style bed. Larger than expected TV. probably 40-42 inch instead of small 24 inch tvs we see a in the locally owned places wife and I stay. Nice Keurig coffee maker. Mini-frig compressor was quite. No breakfast but we were gone by 5:30 am so wouldn't have gotten it anyway. Besides is breakfast really free? Four Seasons Lodge is certainly worth another stay for us when we pass through the area again in 3-4 months.

I would not want any friend, family or anyone to spend money expecting anything other than veryyyyyy poor service and accommodations. Manager without prior notice requested a one hundred dollar deposit, while not delivering the very basic of service and amenities to the guest.

Jon, Thank you for your feedback, I apologize on behalf of our entire team for failing to meet your expectations. It is standard procedure at all hotels that a deposit is collected for cash paying guests, please keep this in mind for future travels. As far as amenities offered, through we did not have a chance to discuss them we do offer Free full high speed WIFI, cable, Mini/fridge microwave and 1 full acre of river access for our guests to enjoy. These are standard amenities at many mountain lodges, if you are looking for a full hot breakfast or swim pool I would recommend one of our local franchise hotels.

They should change the name to Year Round so it does not capitalize on the name of a luxury hotel. The entire stay was contactless. There was no breakfast. There was no one in the office. Our key was stapled to the office door in a folded piece of paper. There were no directions to room 12. It took us 15 minutes to find it on the second floor behind the office building, The only good things were a comfortable bed and a good TV. The bathroom was a space 8 ft. X 2.5 ft. with a pedestal sink, old low toilet, and a tiny shower. We chose not to shower there. I had to fix the toilet to keep it from running. It needs a new valve assembly. A larger bowl would also be welcome. Two feet of the floor had a 2 inch drop. Checkout was also contactless (just drop the key into a key drop box). We have stayed at the Allington many times (now a Quality Inn), but it was full.

Super hot at night but I brought my own fan. Nice comfortable room. The floor had nails sticking out oe something sharp under the carpet be aware and enjoy it. Simple motel nothing fancy just east and peaceful

The beds were great and really clean. The kitchen area was in poor condition in our cabin and towels needed to be upgraded to reflect cleanliness. All in all it was spacious and comfortable to sleep in for a short stay.
