Absolutely gorgeous and perfect place to stay, a solid 10 out of 10. Room was breathtaking, all of wood, with a great private balcony. We had the best time, and felt it was nicely located and so peaceful and quiet. The owners were lovely, and so was their adorable sweet tiny dog! Breakfast was also delicious, and the café phin was a great touch :) Thank you so much for the wonderful stay! We hope to come visit you again in a few years 😊

Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay at Nguyen Shack so much! There is such lovely views from the room and eating area. I think that if you love camping and don't mind seeing some tiny flying critters in the room, this is a great place for you. The room is basic but it's got a wonderful view of the mountains and the river that the boat tours pass through. The host was nice to talk with and was helpful with your questions (in English). The host booked a tour for me for the same morning.

If I could give this place more stars I would. Honestly can’t say enough good things about our stay here. We got in late after an overnight bus and the owner came and picked us up from the bus stop. The place was well kept, and extremely beautiful. He also kept our bags the whole next day while we did a cave tour and even dropped us off at the train station after.

Great stay at Song Toan Hotel in Phong Nha. The staff at this hotel were fantastic right from check in all the way thru the delicious breakfast they made us the next morning. We stayed here for one night before a cave trip and I couldn't recommend it any higher!

Beautiful and clean bungalows in a great location. The family and staff are so friendly and helpful. They organized a tour and a bus for us, picking us up and dropping us off themselves. They made us feel welcome and comfortable after check out while we waited for our bus. Their food is good as well.
