The property is fine on the outside. It is on the river but the rooms are terribly old and outdated. The bed had a huge hole that I was stuck in and woke up with a backache. Everything was clean just old and rickety.

The place was clean the limited staff e saw as very friendly. Would have like to have two chairs in the room and a second mirror not in the bathroom. But overall it was a nice stay.

I'd stay again
The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. It would have been nice to have a fan for the room. All and all... It was an affordable, clean, comfortable room.

They lost our Expedia reservation for 2 rooms — gave us an upstairs room even. Though we had heavy bags … one room was very dirty … staff was little help … very poor situation

A very convenient refuge for our fishing adventures for salmon on the Kenai and Kasilof Rivers. Patio area overlooks the Kenai River, and dock along the bank allows for riverside fishing.

Great stay
First place I ever stayed in Soldotna many years ago, I always felt welcomed and comfortable until this visit. Felt like we were targeted with some new rules, constantly being asked to prove residency while others had to produce nothing. I ask that they be careful in the administration of their new policy.

The views are amazing and they have a great set up on the river and access to that. The bathroom and rooms need to be renovated for the price.

We were not expecting how nice this hotel would be. Super close to our fishing spot. Rooms are nice. Updated bathrooms. Updated lounge. Each room had amazing views. No restaurant (apps in the lounge) but you could bring in food. Staff was very nice.

Had a great experience there. Lots of fisherman amenities. Freezers, seal a meal, scale, some waders, ice. Rooms are very comfortable and clean and overlook the river. Places to fish and clean fish, fire pit and BBQ's. Nice lounge and staff to wind down and share stories too. We will be back!

Great stay except when we got up to load the car they were resurfacing the lot right in front of our door! We had to walk way around to get to the car. A heads up would have helped! But the location is fabulous and everybody was friendly and helpful.
