I liked my stay for the most part, pretty clean and cozy. Only downsides I experienced was there was no extra toilet paper left out Incase you ran out and our roll was already half out & the shower is EXTREMELY slippery with no grip mat etc so my bf fell the second he stepped in, luckily was okay. So definitely not the kind of in I would suggest to any older folk as a fall in a shower could seriously hurt someone. Beyond that, it was an ok stay. Nothing special.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and we apologize for the inconvenience with the toilet paper, there actually should be an extra roll in the bathroom. I'm sure it was a common mistake but we do apologize. As for the slippery tub, most do have the slip proof bottom but the rest are continuing to be updated. It was fabulous, so cute and cozy. We felt super good, one exception is the beds and pillows. If you get a mattress topper or tempurpedic foam topper-it’s a game changer and super affordable. Some softer feather like ones are so amazing. I rate my experience by how comfy beds were:)

Perfect for my needs. Minus 9 degrees outside, warm enough, hot shower lots of water, clean room, cable (Direct TV), not 5 stars but fair price. Little wait for check in (4 PM). Very quiet comfortable stay this time of year. Thank you.

Room was average. After getting back to my room, realized the mini fridge was not working. Went to plug in my phone charger, and there is trash behind the nightstand. These are things i shouldve looked for earlier in the night before the front desk left.

Sorry for your issues. We unplug the ref. when the room is vacant for a while to defrost. It takes a little time to get cold when pugged back in. We have a new cleaning staff I will address the house cleaning issue with them. Thank you for your review.
Hotel staff were not ever present except at check in time. There was no room service for our 4 day stay. No way to get clean towels or have the trash removed. The room condition was poor. The coffee maker did not work, the shower had mold all over the tile & grout. The shower head sprayed water everywhere except where it should have been.There was only a light at the doorway and one small table light that did little to light up the entire room. The bed covers consisted of a sheet and a bed spread.The satellite TV channels were lacking and no news channels available. The parking lot was cratered with potholes. This is the worst place we have ever booked through Hotels.com, especially considering the 130$ per night rate.

We are staffed for winter season. Front desk is staffed when needed, but if you call the hotel number there is always someone near by to assist you. Room service is by request only, put out the maid service sign.to obtain room service. If you had notified us about your other issues we could have fixed them.Thank you for your review we will attend to your issues.

The place was disgusting, the dirties place I’ve ever been to. I could not sleep there. I asked the front desk for my money back and they didn’t want to pay me back. They advertise one thing and they have another. They took my money for one week stay and I could not have my family sleep there, I asked the front desk lady to give me my reimbursement because it’s NOT what they advertised and she did not even care. She said SORRY I’m a Russian accent.
The place is miserable.

Could be worse, should be better
They had no trashcan in the room. There were mysterious crumbs next to one side of the bed. The mattress felt old. At times the hallway smelled like fish.

Sorry about the trash can, we have lots of them. I assume you were given one. Most of our mattress are new, but I will check on the one in that room. I will check with cleaning staff about the crumbs. It is fishing season and some of the fisherman do smell a little fishy. lolHope you come back again.
Pay the extra $ and stay somewhere else. This place is really dirty. The bed is horrible, heater didn’t work, there is a 1 1/2 inch gap under the main door that is very unsettling. Put the little maid serve sign on door and room was never cleaned and finally the room had a horrible smell.

Sorry for your bad experience. We have new cleaning staff and they had a death in the family, 7 year old brother, they were not functioning well, but I would like to know what was dirty. No one else has complained about the bed in that room so not sure what your issue was. The heaters work but the pilot light may have been out, staff should have fixed it.The manager was out of town during your stay which would account for some of your issues.All of your issues have been fixed.Gives us another try for free.
The owner was great. He was flexible with our arrival time and made it work.
For the cost the accommodations were acceptable. The property was nice. A couple improvements would have been to have a heavier blanket and a couple more pillows and towels, other than that it was fine.
I would stay again.

Had to phone for receptionist upon arrival. Front door was locked. Manager vacuumed hallway outside our rooms at 10pm. Stayed four nights without any cleaning service.

Sorry for your issues. We have someone on premise but not always at the front desk due to low occupancy in the winter months. Room service is by request. The person vacuuming did not realize it was so late but quiet time is after 10:00 PM.Hope this answers your issues and you can return in the future.
This hotel looks newly renovated with exceptionally appealing decor and aesthetics. From the lobby to the hallways, everything was beautiful, warm, and comfortable. The bathroom upgrade was especially delightful. The only small hiccup was that the sign on the door inside the room said check out was 11am but the staff knocked shortly after 10am to see if we had checked out. I strongly encourage managers to revise check out to at least 11am, especially if check in is not until 4pm. Some travelers will appreciate greatly the extra time in the morning.

Checkin not till 4 pm. Didn't care for housekeeping knocking on door at 9:45 am to tell us we needed to be out by 10 am. Poor locks on door. Floors hadnt been swept. No chair to sit on. See thru towels.

windows are single glazed so you can hear everything from main toad .
this is the worst possible excuse for a hotel, motel or Inn that you can imagine !

Sorry for your poor experience. If you had informed us we could have moved you to the back of Hotel which is quieter. It is an older hotel but it has been renovated but we are still steadily improving it.
We needed a place to stay for a family wedding. The staff greeted us with smiles. and treated us with kindness throughout or stay. The rooms are clean and a little on small side, however perfect for what we needed.
Went to the Catch for lunch and by far the best meal we had in Soldotna.
Good central location to the Kenai peninsula. Restaurant and bar attached was nice. Area was a bit rundown.

Horrible experience staying here. Booked for four nights and only stayed one. The room was dirty which they came back and cleaned and gave the excuse of a drunk man being in the room. Super sketchy. The front gal was rude. Would never stay there again. Super loud at night. The door has gaps so you can here everyone coming and going at all hours of the night. The room smelled like mold.

Sorry for your bad experience The room problem was from a previous guest that went back into this room after he had checked out. His key had not timed out and we were unaware of this fact. We have some oil field worker staying with us and they are working odd shifts, so there is some activity at odd hours.

Older rooms. Staff friendly and helpful. Desk hours hours limited, but staff can be reached by cell. Restaurant available, okay eats. Bar attached to Hotel.
I stayed 7 nights in this place, and not one single day did they do any housekeeping. They didn’t even have a trash can in the room. Floor was dirty with loose dirt and stains. Had to buy my own linens and shower towel.

We are sorry you must not have been informed that if you want housekeeping you need to put out the maid service sign. If you had notified us we could have fixed all your issues.
Only one bath towel was provided for two people. The bed was so broken it basically folded in half like an air mattress with a hole in it. The front desk took a picture of my card on a personal phone and the next day I had faulty charges. I was also double charged for the room and they were less than concerned when brought to their attention. Would NEVER stay there again, even if it was the only option.

So the issue was You checked in under the wrong name. We never took a picture of your CC. We did take a picture of your reservation and that was how we figured out that you were checked in under a different name. You were not double charged. You were not charged by us. You were charged by expedia only. Any faulty charges were not from us.No one else has ever complained about that bed but I will check on it.Sorry you had such a miserable time.

The property was ok for a cheaper motel. The lobby was nice with fireplace and couches. The front door is locked and you cannot get in without calling the number on the door. I found that very strange for checking in. The check in process was confusing for the poor girl left to do it. I felt sorry for her as you could tell she wasnt properly trained and left on her own. The restaurant didn't have bad food but was pretty expensive. We probably wont ever stay there again.

Sorry for you bad experience. We have skeleton staff in the winter since it is a slow season for us. No one is at the desk for late check-ins, but someone is usually near by. Our staff has all been trained but some are still very new to our system.. I hope you will give us another try.
