This condo has one of the best locations in the complex. Located on the second floor, the convenient location features a walk-out patio to the seasonal pool and hot tub area and is also just steps from the ski slope. Large floor to ceiling windows in the living room look out to the pool area. The sun streaming in the windows and the view of the pool beckon you to head outside and enjoy the beautiful Colorado day. The kitchen area was remodeled with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and conversational seating. The kitchen opens up to the living area where the comfortable living room furniture and wood burning fireplace create an ideal space to relax when spending time indoors during your stay. This two bedroom plus den/3 bath condo is ideal for family or friends traveling together. Each sleeping area offers an en-suite bath for added privacy. The master bedroom has a large king bed and newly remodeled en-suite bath with a double vanity area and walk-in shower. The second bedroom has a queen bed and a twin bed. If you are traveling with children there is also a trundle bed, perfect for the little ones in your group. The den/dining area becomes a third sleeping area when the accordion door is closed. There is a comfortable day bed with a pull-out trundle bed as well. Guests staying in the sleeping den will really appreciate the private bathroom with separate vanity area and walk-in shower. If dining out is your preference the Snowmass Base Village or the Snowmass Mall are just a short walk away where you will find a number of great restaurants to choose from. The free Snowmass shuttle stops just 50 yards away if you need to make a trip to the grocery or the transit center to catch a free shuttle to one of the other ski mountains. The location is truly the best at Snowmass. Ski right to your door plus easy access to the Mall and Base village. We have rented with iTrip several times before and they have been very responsive and helpful with any questions before and during the trip. They were also very flexible and generous with early check in and late check out which was very much appreciated. The unit itself was in good shape and very comfortable. Comfortable and well located for ski in - ski out, hot tubs & pool, and an easy walk up or down slope for shops and restaurants. The itrip staff support is great, pleasant and promptly attentive to any issues...and there were very few and minor issues, mostly our questions. Jul 19, 2022 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location #### Perfect location Shadowbrook is an older condominium complex. Probably built in the 80’s. They have updated it some but it still has carpet and old furniture. The pool and hot tub appear to be newer and we’re lovely. The bedrooms are in the front of the unit along the exterior walkway - so summer month you must leave the windows open due to no AC and risk someone walking by and looking in your bedroom. This is problematic since you don’t have privacy. The unit also didn’t have a great flow of air so it stayed 78-85 inside even with the door open and even when the temps outside were nice in the 60’s. We also had construction outside our window begin at 6:45 am for several days. iTrip Aspen was very thoughtful and tried to move us - we didn’t only because the next unit also appeared hot and didn’t have a pool which our grandson loved. When construction continued the following day she asked if we wanted to stay on another unit in shadowbrook on the opposite side of the construction noise but we had a reservation to hike Maroon Bells so we couldn’t get out in time for them yo turn our unit over (the caveat she gave us) The location is EPIC! we walked everywhere and rode the gondola - the newer Snowmass Village with the Viceroy is a quick walk - it was so lovely. I would definitely rent from iTrip again but ask questions that now I know need asking! ##### jana w. Quiet location even though conveniently adjacent to the pool. Comfortable beds, newly renovated bathrooms and cleanliness were all appreciated. Well stocked kitchen though we enjoyed nearby restaurants instead of cooking! Loved that there was a working ice maker and filtered water dispenser in the fridge. Like most mountain units there was no air conditioning but fans were provided in every room (we used in bedrooms). Doing laundry was easy with 3 washers/dryers in the shared laundry facility. Assigned parking spot was big enough for a large vehicle. Excellent location half way between base village and mall. The extra beds and third bathroom are a huge plus. Then Snowmass mall is literally just up the hill and the local market only 1/2 mile away. The Snowmass cottage is everything promised, charming, sunny, comfortable and meticulously clean. The hosts are gracious and took care of everything. We hope that many more get to enjoy the peace and quiet of this quaint little Snowmass cottage. Perfect parking facility. Nice clean number pots and Pan we cooked number of days without any issues.
