Have been coming here over the years and it's well run, great rooms clean and crisp and always takes my cat. Centrally located and with fridge/microwave a great deal for a longer stay. Always 5 stars.

Loved the layout of the room and the staff were kind and easy to work with. Though we have stayed many "pet friendly" places this one went out of the way to make sure our dog was happy and even sent us along with a leftover ball. Excellent experience!

Basic but clean
Stayed as a stopover while moving north. Room was renovated, and basic but clean. Bed was firmer than I’d like day to day, but was fine for the night. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

The property was nice and close to amenities which was good. Rooms need updating such as bars in tub area and carpets. Staff were great,pleasant and helpful.

Very nice basic motel. Comfortable beds and linens. Super friendly and helpful staff. Its away from the highway so its quieter than other motels but also an easy to walk into town for shopping or dining. The shared kitchen was well equiped and clean. We would stay here again.

Staff were accommodating. We arrived late with our dogs and we had not confirmed about a dog-friendly room. But they moved things around for us and made room. Much appreciated!

Large rooms with fridge and coffee maker. Wooden floors which were good for our dogs. The gal at the front desk gave good dining recommendations. Some parts of the room were old and worn. I wouldn’t step foot in the shower and it’s the only motel/hotel I have been to without a blow dryer.

Friendly motel, off the highway so quiet. The town of Smithers is picturesque and plays up the alpine theme since it is at the base of a mountain.

My overall experience not good. I had body pain every day morning when I woke up. I stayed for 3 nights,yet no room service. No proper Air conditioner. They had a portable AC but not effective for the room. Bed sheets were not that good. I like the quietness and walkable distance to shops.

Great updated older property
Nice clean room and a comfortable bed. Some older properties have an old smell but this one smelled fresh. Nicely kept hotel. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again

Clean, spacious, and affordable!
Our room had lots of space, which was nice with 3 dogs. We booked online, which saved us some money, but the rooms are affordable either way. The bed was comfortable and the bedding had good quality sheets and a thick duvet to curl up in! The tub was so deep, I took full advantage and spent over 2 hrs enjoying my bath! Lots of plug ins, staff were uber friendly, and the onsite laundry and kitchen were an unexpected bonus! The only thing I would suggest would be to change the baseboard heater in our room; the front kept falling off and it was a little loud when it turned on and off, but that's an easy fix! Most everything was within walking distance (thank God cuz our truck broke down and there's no cabs there) which was also nice. Overall we had a pleasant stay and we will definitely be back next time we find ourselves in Smithers!
