About this property

Entire place

You'll have the entire cabin to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

Just 1 mile from Natural Bridge State Park!

This adorable cabin is for small to medium groups but has all the amenities of a big cabin and is cutely furnished and decorated.

After a day hiking and exploring, sit on the deck, and enjoy the view. One, well trained pet is allowed with payment of pet fee.

Major amenities include: Two Satellite Flat Screen TV's, Slate Pool Table, Two Charcoal Grills, and Gas Fireplace.

This cabin is 2 stories. The upstairs Main Living Room has leather sofas, a 46'' Flat Screen Smart TV with Satellite TV and inputs for Game console, computer, etc. Kitchen and dining table join the main living room. Two private bedrooms each with a Queen Bed. One bedroom has a private balcony for taking in the fresh mountain air. Both share one full bathroom.

The downstairs is a Game Room has a Slate Pool Table, beautiful stone gas fireplace, Flat screen Satellite TV, and large windows to take in the scenery while staying cozy and shooting pool. The Game Room also has a queen bed and has an adjacent full bathroom. Please be considerate of our pool table and game room by never setting drink glasses down anywhere on it, using it for dining or beer pong, or attempt to move the pool table (it has been precision leveled and movement will ruin the level and possibly damage the table.

Outside is a large deck, with a new hot tub. Built with natural shade, two Charcoal Grills, Fire pit, and Covered Porch on the Main Level for those drizzly days.

This cabin sits in vicinity of Grizzly Cabin and the Black Bear Lodge. Great opportunities for family reunions or large group activities if need more space than one cabin

Phone Signal is spotty in the area so plan accordingly if coordinating with members of your group. Usually a short walk outside of the house or towards the end of the driveway is enough to get connected. Wi-Fi is not offered at Bear Cub, Black Bear Lodge, or Grizzly Cabin.

Nice family trip
I guess we expected a bit more secluded, but it still a nice quiet area. We did not notice when booking that it doesn't have wifi, which actually turned out to be nice. All in all, it was a nice property. Don't expect a 5 star hotel, but it was great for us being on a budget.

This cabin was great lots of space, very clean, great location close to everything, beautiful scenery. Everything was exactly as advertised. Would give more stars if I could. You will not regret renting this cabin.

Awesome
For the price it was great. Easy fast check in/ easy to get to. Clean and the hot tub worked great. Only bad I seen was no chalk for the pool cues but no biggie. I would stay again.

Needs significant upgrade
The mattresses are sagged and uncomfortable. Sheets and pillows had hairs. The carpet is damaged and has exposed tact strips. The caulk in downstairs shower has mildew stains. The counter is tiles and the grout between is not cleanable. Gaps around sink are full of gunk. The drawers for silverware have ancient, torn, disgusting liner. Gaps at walls are filled with foam. Gaps in doors have overlays with other wood. There are no lamps in the bedrooms and only one in the living room. So it’s too dark or full overhead lights. The spotlights at hot tub are out. The gas fireplace required maintenance for pilot. Although it sleeps more, kitchen table seats only 4 and must be pulled away from wall and then you can’t manage refrigerator door. All Teflon pans are horribly scratched. Very limited to cook - 1 serrated steak knife. I would not recommend to anyone. - despite location and size.

Love bear cub!
Love this cabin and the ease of booking and check in. Don't usually review but wanted to give a shout out to whoever built the deck AROUND the existing trees. Most would cut the trees out of the way, but they worked around the trees and cut a hole in the deck for the trees to grow through. Would highly recommend this place for anyone staying in the gorge and will definitely return.

Wonderful place!
We enjoyed our stay immensely! The cabin was clean and well equipped. Excellent location! Close to Miguel’s Pizza which was excellent! Princess Arch and Chimney Top are the easiest out and back hikes with spectacular views. Our only complaint is that the pictures showed a fooseball table in the living room (which, granted, would have made it feel quite crowded as well as being loud… still, we booked partly for that) and it was gone. There was, however, a brand new hot tub which was fabulous!

Near Everything You Need for The Gorge!
It was great... We didn't wxpect the little things we had packed for our stay... But, they were there...😊 And, the pool table was absolutely divine to play .... 😁 Would definitely stay in the Bear Cub II again...

nice place, convenient location
The property is not fancy but quite functional and clean, with more than enough room and comfortable sleeping spaces for a typical family, everything worked as it should. No laundry but we did not need it for a weekend visit. There are stores near by and a good Mexican restaurant, and the location is close to the local attractions . Cell phone reception is very poor and there is no WIFI, which I think would be a significant improvement that should be considered. The gravel driveway is fairly steep and could be a bit challenging for a front wheel drive car. Overall we are happy with our stay and we would go back in the future.
