"The room was large enough with a nice ensuit shower room. Curtains were a good black-out. Really good selection of freshly cooked breakfast especially the black pudding. Left some stuff in my room and the staff contacted me that evening and posted it on. Thanks"

"A spotlessly clean, well appointed cottage in a great location. Just returned from a short break in Skipton. Prospect Cottage was a perfect base. Unlike some reviewers, we were fortunate with parking, perhaps a benefit of a small car! We did however walk most of the time, leaving the car at the cottage. The town is a short walk from the cottage, with great views along the way. If you're looking for a base that gives you the benefits of a town, combined with easy access to country walks, or wish to be by the canal, this cottage is perfect."

"Lovely stay in Skipton. Cottage is in a perfect location, just off the High Street. Really good selection of pubs, restaurants and shops to explore. The Woolly Sheep was nice for a drink and delicious food at the Railway. Accommodation was lovely, welcome basket was a nice touch.Only things missing for us was dishcloths for the kitchen and bathroom and squeegee to clean the shower."

"Super convenient to town and bus; a little further to the train. The location of the house enabled us to take advantage of all the area has to offer. A clean and cozy home in a quiet neighborhood. Great to have a full kitchen and laundry facilities. Would rent again; there’s still more to explore! Cheers!"
