Breakfasts are excellent and made with good quality local produce. The farm is literally two miles from the centre of Skipton. We stayed for 12! Days it was so good. Beautiful property in the heart of North Yorkshire - amazing selection of breakfast. Clean rooms and family-run, friendly service. Sometimes we had to ask repeatedly for clean towels - and we don’t change them everyday. Beds were old and could use updating for comfort. First impressions were not positive. Acceptably we arrived early, however the male owner saw us arriving and promptly disappeared into the house. The female owner was gardening but must have seen us approach down the driveway. We were ignored until i called out to her. Breakfast staff were pleasant and accommodating. Parking was not easy and there is a need to extend parking areas. What a beautiful location. When my wife and i woke up in the morning, we watched the sunrise over the Dales. The same for breakfast as the dining room has ceiling high windows overlooking the cows and sheep grazing in the fields. The rooms are nice, clean, and quiet, and the beds are comfy. We quickly became friends with some of the other guests. The bottom line is that we had a wonderful time there. Easy to find.Warm welcome . We were allocated a room overlooking the back of the house but view from the breakfast room on the other side was stunning. Breakfast was very good and freshly cooked. My only criticism and it is a small one was that more attention could be made on setting the tables.
