East Cove Paradise is the premier Lake Keowee family vacation pad on a quiet, deep-water cove. Enjoy the secluded quietness of nature and the songs of birds under the canopy of trees, a peace that exists no place else.

A gently sloping, natural looking cement path and a single flight of safe steps to the dock was completed in the Spring of 2016. Access from the lower level of the house to the lower sun deck is now available without a single step. As part of septic system renovation, a spectacular 3000 square foot terrace was built complete with zoysia grass lawn and fire pit! The rest of the property is wooded and natural.

This Non-Smoking home boasts a 22 foot ceiling in the great room that features a new, large screen HD TV and a 34-foot and opens to a perfect screened in deck room with a 12' door that doubles the main level living space. The spacious kitchen was renovated in 2023 and is equipped with everything you need to cook, and 14 can be seated around the table and dining bar. The great room in the main level has a gas burning fireplace to keep you cozy and beautiful view of our secluded cove.

Our monster spring 2022 renovation replaced and expanded the patio and deck and added an amazing screened room on the deck! Opening the 12' door doubles the living space on the main level and opens up the beauty of East Cove to living space, you'll love it!

The 2023 off season project was a complete renovation of the main level with sparkling new kitchen and new flooring. The kitchen is perfect in every way with a central island that sits 6 and a wine fridge.

Another home run renovation for 2024 turned the upper level loft into a private family suite with a perfect new expanded bath featuring a walk in shower and double vanity. New carpet, fresh paint and updated furniture has turned the upper level into the perfect space for the family with kids and sleeps 6 with a king and 2 double bed. Our daughter, husband and 2 grandkids love having their own space.

Our 2025 new Primary Suite bath project is under construction providing a spacious bath with roman shower, tub and 2 vanities to one of the main level bed rooms. An amazing private bath for the couple who rented Lake Keowee's premier family vacation home for their family adventure, it's perfect in every way.

The showplace of our home is the dock! 2 boats up to25 feet can dock and the covered upper deck is the perfect perch to catch rays, relax away a lazy day, and watch the sunset over a deep water, secluded cove. A Personal Watercraft Dock was installed in July, 2018 and is available for your use. Duke Power's WarPath Landing is at the beginning of our cove, an outstanding launch facility with new, state of the art ramps and docks and no launch fee. Parking on our property exists for 3 large trailers. A 10 x 16 foot sun deck is just above the dock with a beautiful view of the cove and all the fun your family is having swimming off the dock and is easily accessed by our new, paved path without a step from the lower level of the house. Two large bedrooms are on the main floor with two more bedrooms on the lower level. Each level has a full bath, so large groups with multiple families can spread out so each can find their own space.

Our updated game room guarantees your kids will have a blast, even if the biggest one is your husband! It features a Brunswick 8 foot pool table with ping pong top that can be put on it, all the toys you've always wanted but don't have room for at home! Our extensive collection of board games has everything we baby-boomers played as a kid to enjoy on the large game/card table, and we have dandy book, jig saw puzzle and dvd libraries to help you relax during your vacation. A refrigerator with ice maker is located in the game room so you're never far from a cold one. Of course wi-fi and streaming TV are available, but Dan suggests you turn the electronics off for a night or two during your stay and have fun with your kids the old fashioned way!

This home is perfect for a small family or a large group. The rooms are large and flowing but still allow for individual space to 'get away' when needed. You satisfaction and a perfect vacation are our only goals, and our home has a 20 year history of satisfied guests and was the second VRBO house listed on lake Keowee.

Dan and Terry have been owners of East Cove Paradise since 2014. "It's our empty nester investment project! We've put our heart and soul into making ECP the premier Lake Keowee Vacation Pad, and experience a peace on the property that we can find no place else. Each satisfied guest adds to the fun of owning the house."

Since 2014, the following improvements have been made: We've replaced the old, challenging boardwalk approach to the lake with a gentle sloping cement path and a single flight of safer steps. Electric outlets and lights have been added to the lower sun deck and dock so you can fish and cover your boat night. Terraces were built and landscaped making a beautiful front entry garden. Pool and foosball tables have been added to the game room, and a ping pong top can still be put on the pool table for ping pong. A large screen, HD TV and sound system has been added to the great room as well as a new gas fireplace insert. All towels and beds and most of the comforters have been replaced. A 3000 square foot terrace resulting in a beautiful zoysia grass yard was added as part of renovating the septic system in 2019. Our 2020 project was to remove the ugly popcorn ceilings on the main and loft levels, repaint all ceilings and walls on those levels, replace and update all lights, smoke alarms and the fan in the great room, and add ceiling fans to the main and upper level bedrooms. 2021 was exterior year with new driveway, paving the upper parking pad, and new roof. In 2022 we replaced the patio, decks, main door to the back room, windows in great room and built an amazing screened in room over the deck that our guests love. The entire kitchen was update in 2023 replacing all cabinets, countertops and appliances and a new floor installed on the main level, it's perfect in every way. Our 2024 renovation included enclosing the upper level loft, expanding the bath, and new carpet, painted and updated furniture.

East Cove Paradise was worn and tired when we bought it 9 years ago but we saw the potential and perfect cove and lot. We've done much of the renovations ourselves and are proud of the results, turning ECP into the premier Lake Keowee family vacation home has been very satisfying. We thank our guests for providing the needed income to help us achieve our goal of Lake Keowee's Premier Family Vacation Home.
