"Went with my parents and daughter to visit my oldest who lives in Big Rapids. It was perfect for us. Wish the weather would have been better so we could have enjoyed the outdoors more. I would love to stay in the summer. I bet it is beautiful. We had snow while we were there and Mike sent someone to shovel the walkway for us. He was very responsive when we had questions. Will definitely stay again when back in Big Rapids."

"Host was welcoming. A few opportunities for a five-star rating....Beds were not made with sheets. Not enough coffee mugs (2 mugs) and cups for the number of people able to stay, no trash bags available. Could be better signage to find the cottage in the dark. Also, the outdoor trash receptacles were overflowing before we had trash to put in them. The cottage was a good landing pad for us overall, with enough space for the family and dogs. "This was a wonderful place to stay. The hot tub was great it feels very secluded with out being completely cut off. We had such a great time we are already planning our next stay here. "

"The house and its rooms were very clean and ready to use. We had everything we needed (and much more) to cook, grill, shower, clean, roast, play, relax, etc.The view to the frozen lake from the back porch and from the dock was amazing.I would 10/10 recommend to stay here ! My family and myself had a great 2-night stay."
