« Reality check! All comments before us were 4 and 5 stars but it’s not…it’s a 3 stars. Maybe once upon a time in the west it was a 5 stars but ain’t anymore but still have potential to be a 5 stars. This cottage is located in the rich countryside of Ocala so if you’re looking for an experience on a real ranch, this isn’t the place. Max one of the owners on site is friendly, they have two friendly dogs also . We did appreciate our stay but…gotta admit that it was a little bit boring after 4 days....

« We had an amazing stay at this property! The spacious kitchen was perfect for our family meals, and we loved having the backyard for our dogs to play in. The added bonus of a golf cart made it easy to get around the area and explore. « The house was furnished with everything you may need during your stay. Most importantly, Kevin (our host), was so hospitable and available for any questions we had. He even spent time with us when we first arrived and showed us all the main cart paths with the golf cart. To top it off, he arranged our transportation to the airport. « From the moment you open the front door you realize you landed in a special place. The house is spacious, clean and well stocked. Communication with David the property owner was easy. « This lake house is the perfect place to stay a few day to relax, there are everything to enjoy it ! The only thing that I will say to add is that if we are 8 to 10 people staying in the house, there is no table for 8-10 people to eat together inside if the weather is not good . « We stayed for 3 nights - four days with 8 adults and 10 children 13 and under. Wonderful space! We invited other relatives to spend the day and we could celebrate a birthday. It was special and very comfortable. We liked in special of the spacious kitchen downstairs, the game space and the beautiful pool. We also walked around the neighborhood and loved the place.Thank you to the hosts and we plan on coming back. »

« The listing indicated the rental was a house. However it is almost a studio apartment attached to a house.The space itself was clean and convenient for my overnight stay. Future renters should be aware there are dogs on the property that are quite vocal and the refrigerator is dorm sized but cold. »
