« The room was new and clean but the mattress was foam and slept like a hammock. Killed my lower back. The room was relatively small and the layout of the counterspace was uncomfortable. When we checked in, the attendant was nice but not helpful at all. She was there to point me to click on a website to check in and that was it. I will not go back to Wells MOTEL. It's not a hotel, it's a renovated motel. »

« Excellent staff. Caring and helpful. Clean! Nice breakfast. Spacious king size bedroom. Only issue was the single elevator failed and climbing 3 stories was no fun at all. Fortunately it failed one day ago and not at the start of our weeklong stay. »

« Such a peaceful haven in the mountains! The staff are really nice and the rooms are nice too. Great place to have as a base camp for visiting nearby waterfalls. »

« Loved Outpost Inn; highly recommend and can't imagine staying anywhere else in town -- incredible vibe, great coffee shop and wine bar, lots of cute spots to sit inside and outside. It felt like the place in town when all the younger, cooler (young meaning, 50 and under, ha) hang out. I loved my room, which was spacious and comfortable. I appreciated the free drip coffee in the mornings. And wow, the weather in Highlands can't be beat in the summer. »

« Not what you'd expect for a $400/nt Marriott. Old lumpy uncomfortable mattress, a lot of dark mold/mildew in the shower and bath floor tile, no (or broken) AC in the common sitting areas on a 90 degree day so it felt like a sauna, entrance doors with most of the paint worn off. Overall just not well maintained. Staff wasn't bad but not overly friendly either. »

« Over all stay was okay but when you book through Expedia, they don't provide a good room. I don't know what is the deal between them or it's about the person who stays there. Am an Asian obviously I can't change my face I wish I could to treat equally. They have the best slot for others they put me somewhere down where I can hear if someone walks upstairs I can hear clearly coz it's only the wooden floors and no carpet on it. I have very sensitive ears where I can't sleep. Then I requested them...

« Staff was excellent. We really enjoyed the boat tour of the lake. Rooms were large and comfortable. A great night's sleep. We really enjoyed sitting on the screen porch and watching the boats come and go. The decor is a bit dated. I believe they said the lakeside rooms were due to be updated in the next year. Restaurant was just so-so. We'd recc. going out to Grand Olde Station for a meal. Overall, a great stay. We plan to go back in the future. »
