Amazing find
Everything was perfect. Amy has made every effort for guests to feel comfortable and the place was spacious with a separate kitchen and living room. There was a place for us to wash our clothes and an outside area with a fireplace and outdoor heater area where we had a gathering with friends. We’ll definitely go back if we’re in Silver City again..

An owner who takes pride in her rentals
We loved our stay in Silver City. The house is tastefully decorated, fully stocked, but the best part is the outdoor living space. There is a TV, a Fireplace, a tall heater like you would find at a golf course deck, comfortable seating, etc. We were truly blessed with great neighbors on both sides (Amy owns those rentals too). Amy and her husband are constantly improving on their properties. This rental is close to everything we wanted to do, we caught some college games, hiked on numerous trails all within 20 mins. or so, caught a couple movies at the Silco. Can't say enough about this rental. We even made the drive to Lake Roberts twice and the Cliff dwellings. Would definitely stay in one of their rentals if we come back to Silver City.

Excellent Accommodations
When my wife and I arrived at the location, we were shortly met by Amy. She gave us a brief tour of the unit (half of a two unit building), showed us where everything was, including the outdoor shade structure that had a grille, fireplace/kiva, various pieces of furniture, outdoor TV and our own parking area. The unit had everything you could think of that you'd need away from home. . It was a few blocks from Silver City's tourist shopping area, so we walked to most places. All in all, it was a very enjoyable stay and we highly reccommend it.

Comfortable and affordable in convenient location
Really enjoyed our stay at Bennet Street. The host, Amy, was beyond awesome. She went above and beyond for sure. The location is across the main street from Historic Downtown. Silver City is so cute. Great place to escape the heat of Phoenix--didn't turn the A/C on once!

Property has everything
This property is equipped with everything you could possibly want. It is 4 blocks from old town Main Street. The owner is very quick to respond and extremely helpful. You won’t be sorry.

Cozy spot in Silver City
We had a lovely time at Amy's Bennett street house. She made a special trip to start the heat for us. The house was attractive and well equipped. The WiFi was great. We didn't turn on the Dish TV. Nor did we get to enjoy the outdoor area which looked divine but weather was chilly and our stay was short. Highly recommend this property.

Lovely Stay
We enjoyed the stay here very much. It was the perfect walking distance to all our events in the historic district of Silver City. All was clean and tidy. Sitting on the porch during a late summer shower was wonderful.

Wonderful place to stay in Silver City
Very clean, spacious condo, huge space for two people. Nice furnishings with very comfortable furniture with wonderful outside portico with grill and comfy sofas for happy hour. Also kitchen with all necessary cookware and spices and other goodies (condiments, etc---). And a most generous Host AMY. A very special stay and we will be back.

4th of July in Silver City
What a great place to unwind and relax after hiking, walking around downtown, or taking a scenic drive. We really loved the outdoor space and we got to enjoy fireworks from the porch. Didn't have to deal with any traffic or crowds and the weather was perfect.

Clean and amazingly well provisioned
This property is as presented online. It's very clean and well cared for by the local owners. It offers all the comforts of home with very well provisioning from coffee to seasonings. The backyard patio with grill and fireplace is an excellent extra. It is obvious the owners take pride in their properties and maintain them to a very high standard. I was fortunate to meet the owners during my stay. They are very friendly and offered a wealth of knowledge regarding attractions in the area. I highly recommend these accommodations to anyone interested in this area.

Nice place to stay
Place was clean and well stocked with spices- oils - and other cooking related necessities -- bed was fine -- short walk to town-- I would stay there again -- If your comming from tombstone be sure to stop at chiricahua national monument and hike echo canyon --

Great host, great location, comfy property!
Amy is a fantastic host with great communication and flexibility. The property is well-stocked so you don't need to bring things like spices, oil, etc if you do not want to. The property is walking distance from the cute downtown as well. The outdoor space is very inviting even though I was unable to use it due to very cold temps! I will be back for sure!

Great little getaway in Silver City. Amy was great host and was very helpful. The accommodations was very adequate and clean for our stay. Hopefully we get to hang out some more with Amy in the future after this pandemic is over.

We loved the location of Amy’s place! It is a beautiful, green property that is so close to downtown! The house is very cute too. Amy is a very communicative, nice host, and she has stalked the place with everything you will need. The best part, though, is the outdoor patio. It is really relaxing to sit outside, BBQ, have a fire, and listen to tunes. We will be back!

The Bennett Place is a hidden Gem in Southwest New Mexico
The Bennett Place is a hidden Gem in Southwest New Mexico When you first pull into the neighborhood you might think this cant be the right place, but don’t worry you will be delighted when you arrive at the house. This is a cozy little place, perfect for a little rest and relaxation. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you will need if you enjoy cooking, and the BBQ in the back is perfect if you enjoy grilling. The covered living area in the backyard is incredible. It has three couches, a table for enjoying meals outdoors, a nice fireplace, and an outdoors TV and sound system. It is the perfect place for relaxing after a day of exploring the many activities to be found in the surrounding area. Plan to spend a day exploring historic Silver City and all of the local shops, art galleries, antique shops, restaurants, and historic sites. You will also find countless local day trip activities to keep you busy. Just over an hour’s drive will take you to the Gila Catwalk Recreation area, this is an incredible piece of engineering, well worth a visit, a nice hike, and a wonderful place for a picnic. An hour and a half drive thru the beautiful Gila Wilderness will take you to the Gila Cliff Dwellings, an incredible experience. You will also find countless areas in the Gila for beautiful hiking.  45 Minutes away you will find The City Of Rocks State Park, this place is a natural wonder and is so beautiful, a must-see experience. Just down the road from the City Of Rocks you will find The Faywood Hot Springs where you can enjoy a nice soak after a long day of hiking, we enjoyed it so much we went two nights in a row. And best of all is Amy! She was wonderful to deal with and was full of helpful ideas for things to do in the area, suggestions for restaurants in town if you’re not in the mood cook or BBQ at the house, and she had the house beautifully cleaned before our arrival.

it was perfect!
From the moment we opened the door at the little 'casita' at 1019 Bennett, we were transported--away from the long days and nights on the road to a perfect place to feel at home, rest, relax, and recover. I don't think we have ever stayed in a VRBO property that was as well thought out with the guests' experience in mind. EVERY thing we could ask for was there--from the beer and cold glass in the refrigerator to the extra blankets in the bedroom closet, to the heater in the bathroom to combat the unseasonable cold. Books to read, good coffee to make, comfortable couch and huge over-stuffed chair for curling up on. Amy even left soft music playing for our arrival. We arrived a day late and were lucky enough to be able to move that night's stay to the end of our time there. We could walk to down town easily, but the house itself was on a quiet street and we never heard a noise. We could sit outside around the giant fireplace in a covered outdoor living room (in our coats but still...). We are already planning to make sure that when we come down next year we spend at least three days there. For a single or a couple visiting Silver City, I can't imagine a better home away from home

You won't find a more comfortable stay!!!
So, my wife and I stayed a week. We were looking at housing in Silver City. We were "blown away" by the hospitality and comfort of Amy's property. The most well stocked housing we have ever encountered. We have traveled for the last 40 years with our business and we found the crown jewel here. One won't be disappointed. The neighborhood is quiet, the outdoor relaxing space is very comfortable. Amy and Larry are very gracious, bubbly, and hands on. I certainly hope we can stay here again. This would be my first choice!!!! We only hope nobody else will find out about place because we want to it to be available to us whenever we want. Thank you for your commitment to excellence!!! Silver City has to be one of the friendliest cities we have ever visited. A+++ in every way!!!

Amy thought of everything and we were pleased to find a well stocked pantry. Lovely setting and the covered patio, complete with fireplace and grill was perfect for outdoor dining . Sugar and Kitty, our four-footed hosts added to the ambience in a warm and unobtrusive way.

Amazing stay with true character and charm.
We stayed here over the 4th of July weekend and really enjoyed our time at Amy's property. The backyard was to die for and we especially loved sitting under the beautiful wooden pergola in the evenings...very kid friendly! The property is part of a 2-house community and we felt like we had our own little shared town....very unique and beautiful with gardens and Silver City charisma. We would recommend this place to friends and family.

Very peaceful and quiet neighborhood. Great porch and side deck. Great living spaces. Very nicely appointed in western furnishings. Walking distance to all great restaurants, art and pottery shops. Amy was a wonderful host whom we share some nice conversations.
