The Pool area was a little bit worn, and needed a renovation. My only big concern with this property was that the beds are extremely uncomfortable. There is no padding on them, and you can feel the springs. The driver was pleasant waiting for us at the entrance with my name on the card. We had arrived much earlier than check in. They gave us complementary coffee and croissants while waiting which I thought was a nice touch. The room was nice with a very comfy bed but the air-conditioning was leaking when choosing the turbo option. Breakfast was good. The food in general was of good standard. The hotel is close to the city centre where there is plenty of restaurants and bars as there is not many close to the hotel. We had a great time at Mother Home Boutique. It is a little out of the main centre and tucked away behind the main road, but it's a hidden gem! Friendly staff, good service, spacious rooms with cable TV, good buffet breakfast. We liked that the hotel had a fleet of tuktuks at the ready to take you to the old market, pub street etc for around $2\. We booked several trips through the hotel - a tuk-tuk small circuit and a car grand circuit, as well as a trip to the war museum and Angkor Wat museum. Good value and a helpful driver named Mr Pilot. All in all a great stay!
