« The Eagle’s Nest was an awesome place to stay for a week! The Blue Heron property was immaculate. The network of stairways was fun for our youngest to play hide and seek on. Three docks to fish from and plenty of beachfront. Even on the hottest days we could still find shade on the beach. The lake was great, not busy. 7 of us stayed and we were comfortable. Way worth the trip! »

« My husband & I came up from Indiana for a long relaxing weekend & the cottage was perfect. We really enjoyed sitting on the back patio & drinking coffee or enjoying a good book. The kitchen decor was *chef’s kiss* When the neighborhood lost power for a few hours on our first night, the hosts were superb in communicating about the situation & even sending updates from the electric company. We would definitely stay here again! »

« My husband and I stayed here to visit family in the area. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. Melissa was very friendly and responsive to any questions we had. The location is quiet and relaxing and we enjoyed fires at the firepit both nights. I very highly recommend this cabin and we are planning to come back in the fall to see all the fall colors. »

« We had a lovely stay at this property - it had everything we needed for a couple relaxing days. Our kids enjoyed swimming in the shallow water and taking the kayak and paddle boat out. There was plenty of outdoor space to enjoy, and the inside was clean, nicely finished, lots of natural light with beautiful views of the lake. The lake wasn't loud or overly busy even on a mid-summer weekend. A great spot to relax. We rented their pontoon boat and really enjoyed being able to cruise around on the...

« This group was made up of 7th-12th graders from our classical Christian school (and adults). Our school has a house system and has an ongoing competition, and this group of boys won! This house was selected for their retreat, and they thoroughly enjoyed the house and their time up north. The chaperones said the homeowners were easy to contact regarding access and if anything came up. Thank you for a great retreat! We would highly recommend this home for any large or small groups!! »

We all loved the lake and I caught 26 small bass over 4 days. The kayaks and canoe are high quality and fun for all ages. The washer and dryer are newer models and work quite well. « Fantastic stay in the "nest". Shelly was super helpful and we loved the accommodations. Perfectly located for both downtown and the beach and right above the Lighthouse Cafe, which also gets 5 stars for the delicious breakfast we had in the morning. Ron and Shelly were awesome communicators and super friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay there again next time we are in Muskegon! »
