I have traveled around Asia recently and stayed in a number of budget hotels and this hotel was one of the best. Clean and modern. I took a room without a window (to save money) and I just ran my air conditioner every once in awhile - it worked perfectly. There is a very nice and large lounge area, as well, so you can go there if you want to with your laptop and do work. It was very easy for me to get to this hotel from Shanghai Station - I walked. There is always someone at the front desk and you can buy water and various things down there. I was really happy with this room and grateful I was able to book here so inexpensively to enjoy 6 days in Shanghai.
