We are dog friendly! 2 Dogs max with a $150 non-refundable fee. No aggressive breeds. Dogs must be spayed or neutered. Always clean up after your dog. Dogs are to remain off of all furniture and beds. Do not bathe dogs in sinks, tub/shower, or hot tub. Guest agrees to supervise dogs at all times and take necessary precautions to prevent damage or disturbance to the property, ensuring dogs are well-behaved, house-trained, and not a nuisance to neighbors, and never unattended in the home. Always crate (not provided) if you will be away. Dogs MUST be leashed at all times when outside of the home, and noise and disturbance must be limited. Dog owner is fully liable for any damages to the property and its furnishings caused by dog(s) and will be asked to pay full replacement costs of any damages. If dogs or any other animals are brought into home without prior approval or agreement, owners reserve the right immediately terminate reservation.


This cabin is 35 mins from major attractions, a 38 min drive to Gatlinburg, a 28 min drive to Pigeon Forge & Dollywood.

***Guest booking must be 25 years or older. No parties or events. No Smoking or Drug use on property. No fireworks. Parking area and entrance under video surveillance. The pool is serviced Tuesdays & Fridays. Rental Agreement & $300 Security Deposit REQUIRED. Check-In time is between 4pm and 10pm FIRM. Neighborhood quiet hours between 9pm & 8am.

This is the best cabin experience I have had. The host had great communication. The cabin was very clean and well maintained. This cabin also has the best views. This is by far the best cabin experience. I would highly recommend this cabin!!!!!

This cabin is absolutely stunning! We had some internet connection issues but the owner went above and beyond to work with us all weekend to try to find a resolution.The view from the back is gorgeous and the cabin was equipped with everything we needed and two of most things. Highly recommend this beautiful cabin!

Beautiful home, peaceful location

Perfect stay for our family to get away and enjoy some together. It’s has amazing amenities that our kids enjoyed and a phenomenal view. It’s a bit of a drive to town but that was ok with us - we made sure to get groceries and do our Pigeon Forge activities before heading to the property. Would definitely stay here again!

Best View & Great Vacation House

We had a wonderful stay at this location with our family. The place was clean, which we appreciated. The kids had an absolute blast in the pony room and the downstairs areas- kept them entertained throughout our visit. The view was simply amazing . We would book again and recommend it. Places to go around the area is the Kyker Farm and rent ATV! Stack up for food and drinks before arriving since it is up in the mountains. They do offer wifi!

House was nicer than pictures. Bigger than it seemed. The bunk room is genius. Holds many people but gives a sense of privacy. Host VERY responsive. Trail up mountain is scary, but manageable and worth it for THE AMAZING VIEW!!!! Pictures do not do it justice. Its a 25 min trip to town, so come prepared.

Our family had a wonderful vacation at Shell Mountain Sunset!

Shell Mountain Sunset was the perfect house for our spring break vacation! The home was very beautiful inside and out, and had every amenity to make the week wonderful! Everything about the house was perfect. The decor was lovely and the home was extremely spacious! The views from the decks were stunning. Our whole family enjoyed sitting by the gas lit fire pit on the deck, the hot tub, and the indoor pool! We also loved having a few movie nights in the home theatre. There wasn’t any detail left out in this home. The location was great because we wanted something a little bit quieter and not too close to the areas of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, which tend to be a little busier and more crowded. We also enjoyed the location being close to some wonderful hiking areas that weren’t as crowded. Kristina was wonderful to book with and was very good with communication during our stay. We have family in Knoxville. I know we will be back to the area to visit them, and I would definitely book this home again when we return!

Perfect Winter Escape!

What an incredible home! We were desperate for a last minute escape from the holiday craziness while the kids were off school and I stumbled upon this beautiful home in search of a house with an indoor pool. I struck gold! There was truly no need to leave this house! The indoor pool was larger than we expected, warm and safe. Pool towels were provided in addition to all linens and bath towels. Our kids LOVED the movie theater and arcade room.The main living floor was beautifully decorated, spacious, well-equipped and maximized the amazing view. The kitchen ( charcoal grill) had everything we needed to cook all of our meals. The bedrooms were all generously sized with en-suite baths and the beds were comfy. But the bunk room took the cake! It absolutely blew.us.away. My kids were in pure heaven! If it weren’t for the amazing arcade room and pool, our kids would have never left that room!Kristina was an incredible host! She sent an email full of helpful info when we booked. We brought all of our non-perishables and did a Kroger pickup for perishables on our way in (35 min from the house) and it worked perfectly! The road to the house was full of switch backs and would be a little hairy in inclement weather but was WORTH IT for the views! The sunsets are especially incredible!We can’t recommend this house enough and can’t wait to come back!

Great place.

The winding road up the mountain to the house was fun to drive and caused some motion sickness among some of us. It was worth it for the beautiful view. My family enjoyed watching the sunset every night we could, as well as the occasional storm. The rooms were spacious. The boxes of amenities were appreciated. The kitchen was large to make meals for 13 and the two fridges were great. This was the beat game room we stayed at by far- the pool table and arcade games were phenomenonal.My only complaints: the pool room had an unpleasant smell, the hot tub had a slime to it that deterred use, and noise traveled well in the home. Everyone liked the house and we wish we spent more time there.The host was responsive when we contacted her.

Stunning Cabin

We could not recommend this house more! My husband and I brought our 4 kids (ages 2-9), my parents, my mother in law, and even our chocolate lab. The kids loved the barn suite! It is the cutest kids room I have ever seen. I love that the other bedrooms all have king beds and each have their own bathroom. We had plenty of “personal” space. There are plenty of linens, toiletries, paper towels, dish soap, etc.. The kids were in the pool almost every day-the waterfall was also a nice touch. We loved the views from the top of the mountain. One morning we woke up above the clouds. I also loved that we were all able to eat together at the huge table. There are also 2 refrigerators and 2 microwaves—plus all the utensils you need for cooking. This cabin has all you need and we will definitely be back! I would recommend this cabin to anyone and everyone. Also when we did have a minor log in issue with one of the TVs the owner was quick to respond and fix it. Owners definitely want you to enjoy your stay!
