Best Vacation Rental Property Ever!
We were blown away by the overall quality of this property. The location was great with close proximity to a very nice pool, within just a few more steps to 7 mile beach. Also so much within walking distance including many restaurants & stores & Camana BayThe quality of all furnishings including the beds were excellent. It was also equipped with virtually everything you might need during your stay, even down to condiments and a large supply of coffee. Trinda the owner provides a comprehensive guide to everything you need to know about the property, but also copious recommendations for restaurants, stores, and of course things to do. It was also very quiet during our visit April6th - 13th 2024. No reservations needed for any actitivies , a nice bonus.

Condo, pool and grounds were excellent. The beach was eroded but we were able to walk the beach and find perfect places to set up. Trinda was fantastic with making sure everything was right for us. Very close to everything you need. Highly recommend!!

Lovely Stay
We enjoyed our stay at this condo. The condo itself is beautifully renovated with comfortable furniture and beds, and enough space for our 5 adults and 1 child (3yo). The kitchen was well stocked with the basics you need. Trinda provided numerous baby items which was very helpful for our toddler, and the complex had a shared beach toy closet which was nice so we did not have to supply our own beach toys! The condo grounds are beautiful and the pool was really nice to have, as are the showers throughout the property. Trinda provided a ton of helpful information after booking which came in handy as it was our first trip to the island! We used a lot of the recommendations/vendors and had great experiences. The location of the condo is on the south side of 7 Mile Beach, but there are numerous restaurants within walking distance as well as Camana Bay/the grocery store so we were able to go without a vehicle during our stay. The one disappointment is the beach is not quite as depicted in photos. The beach at the complex is small and rocky, and the lounge chairs/umbrellas are on the grass above the ramp/stairs as there is not much room on the beach. The beach in this area is just shared between two complexes and then stops, so you have to walk on the street or swim if you want to get to the long stretch of 7 Mile Beach. It was just a quick 7-10 min walk to that part of 7MB, but was still a little disappointing. Overall though we enjoyed our stay!

Amazing stay!
#57 at Cayman Reef Resort was wonderful. The condo had everything that we needed and more. The location is fantastic. We could walk to restaurants, shipping, etc. Trina was a terrific host. We will be renting here again for sure!

Very nice location, center of 7 mile beach with close access to grocery, shopping, eating and more. Owner very responsive and shared lots of helpful information before our trip. Encountered a couple maintenance issues (dryer not heating to dry clothes-plugged vent, non working outlet) but overall the accommodations were nice. As far as the whole complex, the pool could have used more umbrellas and was much improved after grounds crew cleaned it mid week. Some shared floaties were available for our kids so we didn't have to supply our own. The beach was quite narrow during our visit (high sea levels I think). Not quite as shown in the pictures. Still gorgeous and beautiful sunsets each night. Will be visiting again.

This is a Nice Place
This place was clean, comfortable and had a great location. Be sure to go across the street to Chicken, chicken for some food. The movie theater/mall is a 15 minute walk. I could go on..... The managers are organized and set us up with suggestions that made our first trip here really easy. Thanks!

This was a fabulous trip! This was the first time we took our teenage kids out of the country. I researched the entire Island looking for a good location, nice modern place to stay, at an affordable rate! I wasn't disappointed! Trinda was very helpful thru-out the entire process. She was there when we checked in and it was so nice to meet her! She even had a bottle of my favorite variety of wine there for us! The condo was exactly as described and pictured. Plenty of towels, bath & beach! The location is Amazing! We will 100% go back and we will 100% see if this condo is available!

Everything in the condo was nice. Had everything we needed. Location was excellent. Accommodated 6 adults very well. However, there are a couple of things that I would like to bring to Trindas attention. Her timeliness on email responses need attention. There is a 2 day plus minimum from when we heard back from an email. Our friends that stayed with us sent an email on friday at 8am and as of this morning, Sunday. Still had not heard back and it is in regards to their checkout today. It is important that emails are looked at and responded to within 24 hours. A phone was one of the benefits however we never was able to call the US free as stated in the manual. The phone line was not working. We emailed her about that and it still did not work. We was also offered a portable phone to carry with us to call a taxi but never received a charger even after we sent an email stating so. As a suggestion having hotel size bar soap in the bathrooms for showering would be great. Other than that we had a wonderful stay and we LOVED Grand Cayman .

Great place to stay on 7 mile beach!
This condo was in the perfect location on 7 mile beach!We could walk to so many places- Camana Bay, downtown Georgetown, etc. There were so many places nearby to eat, and they were all delicious. We didn’t need to rent a car at all, but did for one day to tour the whole island since it was cheaper than a tour. Three couples stayed here for a week- it was very comfortable and had all of the necessities. Trinda was absolutely great to deal with and so helpful! If you want to get a beach chair and umbrella, you have to reserve it before 6am or they will all be taken! Even though the sign says no holding of chairs, everyone does it and they get taken up very early!...

I rented unit #57 for 1 week for a multi-generational family trip. The condo has a nice view of the pool and beach. It was a short walk to plenty of restaurants and shops (including Camana Bay) and short drive to the grocery store. The condo is stocked with all we needed for a week's stay and some extras I wasn't expecting like basic seasonings (salt, pepper, garlic, cinnamon), coffee and tea, a few pool toys, and a stroller and children's cot. Trinda was helpful and responsive. Some of the reviews I read online said there were problems with noise from the Royal Palms Beach Club next door. We didn't have any issues with noise. I only have 2 negatives, but neither greatly impacted our stay. 1. There aren't enough towels. With 4 adults and a toddler, we ran out of towels every other day. Luckily, there was plenty of detergent in the condo so we washed a couple loads of towels during the week we were there. 2. The beach in front of the resort is small. On days where there was rough water, the waves washed out the beach all together. This isn't unique to Cayman Reef though. We walked along the beach one day and there are quite a few places that have small beach fronts. Overall, I'd highly recommend this condo! We hope to come back. It was a great stay!

Thanks again for staying with us! So sorry about the towels....I would have been happy to add more. We generally stock 12 bath towels and 8 beach towels in the condo. Happy to report there is lots of sand on the beach again and unfortunately the weather system the week you were visiting meant lots of waves which pulled some sand away. Waves like that are a bit of a novelty for those of us who live on the Island since they are rare but totally understand not a lot of fun if you are visiting and just want to float in the sea.

Perfect Week!
We had an amazing time. The condo is located in a great location RIGHT ON 7- mile beach. You can walk to many shops and restaurants. The condo was well stocked. Trinda provided us with great "insider" information. It was so easy to get on a bus and venture out to other locations too! The Condo was clean and had everything that we needed! We cooked in a few nights and it was perfect! Never had a problem getting an umbrella on the beach. The pool was clean and peaceful. 5 STARS!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Wonderful vacation at a perfect location!
We rented the condo from Feb 10th-17th, 2018 for 6 adults and a toddler. It was perfect for many reasons-location( in the middle of the 7-mile beach, close to the beach), great sleeping arrangements that fit our needs, feet away from the pool, close to restaurants, entertainment, etc. The condo has a fully equipped kitchen, and a grill, so if you are not as lazy as us, you don’t have to eat out every night. Trinda was very helpful, providing information even before we left, so we could prepare for the trip better. Compared to some other Caribbean islands, Grand Cayman is a little more expensive, but it was totally worth it. The only thing we had to figure out, were the beach chairs and the umbrellas. They were not enough, and we were told by other tenants that we had to wake up very eerily in order to claim one, especially the umbrellas. Instead, we went to Royal Palms Beach Club, a 100 feet away and booked cabanas almost every day, which cost $125. For a bigger party, it’s worth it. Overall, we had an amazing trip! Thanks, Trinda!

AMAZING PLACE
Cayman Reef Resort #57 was newly renovated and it was BEAUTIFUL! It was spacious, CLEAN, and comfortable. The condo was right next to the pool, which we only went in once (we are beach lovers). The beach was about 40 yards away and we never had an issue getting chairs and an umbrella for 8 of us!!! Trinda was so very accommodating. She allowed us to leave our bags in one of her other condos on the day we were leaving because we had a late flight. We were able to get some more activities in until we had to come back for our luggage and head to the airport. Thank you TRINDA and NANCY (her mom) for a memorable vacation!!!!

Fun, relaxing, couples vacation!
My husband and I had stayed at the reef resort before, but this was the first time bringing friends and family and staying in a 3 bedroom. Each room had a nice comfy big bed and we really enjoyed the two balconies eating and talking. The kitchen was perfect for making breakfast each morning, having snacks, making coffee, and mixing cocktails. The extra sink outside the upper floor bedroom came in handy when bathrooms were in use. Trinda was easy to work with, we had no problems, and appreciated the wine and note upon arrival. Would definitely go back!

Perfect Location for Family Vacation
This is a beautiful condo in a great location -- the perfect combination for a wonderful and relaxing time. The complex is quiet, chairs for the beach or pool never seemed to be in short supply and everyone we encountered there or around town were extremely friendly. You can walk just down the beach and buy an umbrella drink to enjoy the views and most anything we needed was walking distance or easily accessible using the bus. The condo has everything you need (and more) and Trinda is a great contact to have nearby should you have any needs or questions. Since the moment we left I've been plotting our return and I can't imagine staying anywhere else.

A slice of paradise
My family absolutely enjoyed every minute of our 8-night stay at the Cayman Reef Resort. There was plenty of room for our two kids as well as my in-laws. Trinda's place is beautifully updated and clean and pretty well stocked with paper products and condiments and non-perishables. Trinda was available for any questions - she and her family live on the premises. Never a problem getting chairs and umbrellas and there's an entire closet stocked with water toys too. Our beach was just beautiful - never crowded like the hotel beaches. Many restaurants and stores within walking distance. We rode the bus which is very easy to catch but can add up when you travel with more than a few people ($2.50 USD one way per person) so we ended up walking across the street to Andy's and rented a small car for the week. It was extremely reasonable and my husband drove on the left side of the road no problem (of course, his spacial reasoning skills are much better than mine). We were able to see a bit more of the island and also attend Mass at the beautiful St. Ignatius church a few miles southeast of the beach. Cayman Reef Resort is perfectly situated between Georgetown and the very busy resort section just north. It's peaceful, private and we met many nice people while staying there, including one couple who were born and raised in Grand Cayman — if the locals stay here, then you know you've hit the bullseye. Royal Palms is two doors north and we walked there several times during the day to grab drinks and even rent a paddle board - super convenient. We've already booked another trip to the same place for next summer and hoping we run into some of the lovely people we met who come back every year. If you're looking for a quiet, beautifully updated condo with great service (Trinda's husband ran a blanket over to us at 9pm!), this is your place.

The hidden gem of 7mile beach
We vacationed here in 1994 and again last year, and it just keeps getting better. Cayman Reef Resort is close to everything, we walked to dinner and drinks all the time, we rented a car but didn't need it Our group of 8 adults fit fine in # 57, and Trinda had everything we needed. Coffee with filters some spices all the towels we needed etc. We own a timeshare about a quarter mile south of here and have vacationed there over 20 time the last 30 years. We have stayed on the east end and in west bay ever gone to Cayman brac but Cayman reef is our favorite. If you are considering Grand Cayman then this is the place to go, and any of Trinda's condos is a must. She makes sure you have everything you need and responds to any issues or questions you may have. We will be back soon and thanks again Trinda for making your home our home

Wonderful location
the condo is in a great location on the island with several well priced food options close by, and a short walk from camana bay. The highlight of this condo is the location on the beach, which is nice and not crowded, but close to some resorts where there are more people. The condo was in great condition and we did not have any issues, Trinda also provided timely responses to our questions. We definitely would stay here again.
