Find hotels in Serri from CA $89

The best area to stay in Serri is generally within the town centre itself, or in the immediate surrounding countryside, particularly for those looking for a tranquil escape.

The town centre of Serri is a compact and traditional Sardinian village. You'll find the main square, Piazza del Popolo, at its heart, often hosting local events. The streets are narrow and winding, leading to the Church of San Basilio, a prominent local landmark. Accommodation here is typically in smaller, family-run guesthouses or renovated historic homes, offering a genuine feel for local life.

Couples looking for a peaceful and authentic Sardinian experience will find the town centre appealing. It's a quiet base from which to explore the local archaeological sites, such as the Nuraghe Arrubiu, which is just a short drive away. The local trattorias provide a chance to enjoy traditional Sardinian cuisine in a relaxed setting.

For travellers prioritising a very quiet and secluded retreat, staying in the countryside just outside Serri offers an excellent alternative. Many agriturismos (farm stays) are dotted around the hills, providing spacious rooms, often with views of the surrounding landscape. These properties typically offer a chance to experience rural life, with some producing their own food and wine.

The best time to go to Serri is during the spring (April to June) and autumn (September to October) months.

These periods offer pleasant weather, with warm but not excessively hot temperatures, making it ideal for exploring the archaeological sites and enjoying the natural beauty of the area. You'll find fewer crowds compared to the peak summer season, which means a more relaxed experience at attractions and easier access to local restaurants and shops.

For those interested in outdoor activities like hiking or exploring the Nuragic complex of Serri, spring provides lush landscapes after the winter rains, while autumn offers comfortable temperatures for longer excursions.
