Find a Bed and Breakfast in Serena from CA $88

"It was weird... Came with my 28 year old and my 11 year old. The location is great as it was only a 1.5 hour drive. Checked in at 4pm. Checkin process was not bad, a little slow, but not bad. Facility looked clean and inviting. Entered our room, there was a moldy smell. Lights worked. Microwave OLD, refrigerator had a DEEP LARGE BURN MARK across the top, the TV remote was missing the back and was covered in tape, and CHALK WRITING on my balcony wall. In the bathroom, the robe hook on the back of the door was broken, the shower is LOUD and does not fully turn on, toilet was HARD to flush and LOUD, they REFUSE to give guests EXTRA bath towels, and there is NO HOUSEKEEPING and overheadthe staff saying they were OUT OF SHEETS. Regarding SAFETY... the door to our room was not properly installed.... meaning our door was on an angle causing a LARGE GAP between the door and the frame. Overall, the room was clean but VERY OUTDATED. The arcade was small but great for a small getaway. The Waterpark was also small, but just enough!!! Lazy river, splash zone, big water bucket, 2 slides. COOL! We did notice the windows in the Waterpark were broken and FULL OF FLYING BUGS that were coming into the park. I also noticed before 11am and after 7pm there are VERY FEW LIFEGUARDS and the waterpark is VERY BUSY. The water in the HOT TUB was MURKY and DEEP IN COLOR, is 16 and up, but everyone was in it. The restaurant was OLD and OUTDATED. Order incorrect. "

"The room had a minimal amenities but very clean. The stuff is extremely polite and helpful, especially the night attendant Jou. "

"Things were broken and dirty. Minimal options in the area so you’re somewhat a forced to use it as an option. "

"Very clean. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast seating area could have been bigger but the food selection and temperatures were good. Pool was clean, well-lit and well stocked with towels. Stayed with kids. Very satisfied!"

"The problem in the room; the drapes did not work. They couldn’t close and the lights from the parking lot went into the room. It was very difficult to get to sleep."

"Breakfast was to be included. There was a breakfast room off the lobby. On a Saturday morning it stayed dark & locked. No reason. Coffee available for guest only. Unacceptable."

"Extremely friendly staff, clean room, comfy bed, and good location. Water did not get very hot, though. Not sure why, but we kept finding Asian beetles in our room. "

"The room was clean. The bed comfortable. The tub is not deep. The water pressure is a bit weak. The towels were nice. Breakfast was ok. Loved the omelet and the waffle! Boiled egg was old. Apple Juice tasted funny. Dog areas are great! TV was big and nice. Fridge was good. Parking was good. Overall it was great!"

"Paid for the room through Expedia with affirm payments. Got charged the full price for the room on my debit card plus the $50 incidental. Talked to management. They said they would reverse the charge on my card for the room. Which they have. However, upon checkout, I got charged another $210 dollars for two night’s accommodation plus another $50 charge for something. Called on the way home after checkout. Supposed to reverse the $210 dollars. But taking over $500 out of someone’s account when they aren’t expecting it is not great. Not everyone has $500 laying around. "
