Zzzip was possibly the best introduction to hostel living that I could have ever had as a solo female traveler. To start, Jina and Bryan were excellent hosts--very welcoming, helpful, and friendly. The rest of the staff were also super kind, and one of them even helped me with figuring out the laundry. I stayed in a private room, which was conveniently furnished and had a nice, spacious bathroom. You can feel right at home with the TV and A/C. For the more extroverted travelers, the common areas provide a great space to hang out and plan excursions. The breakfast area was well stocked with the essentials, and guests can even store food in the fridge for some time. Regarding location, the shops and tourist spots of Hongdae are extremely close. You will get a mix of both local small businesses and the more recognizable chains. In my opinion, there's so much to do in this area that you will get FOMO or decision fatigue no matter what! I would definitely go back to Zzzip if I get the chance.

It’s my first time in Korea, zzzip guesthouse gave me a great experience here. Very clean lovely room, the host is super nice. Location is good, 5 mins by walk to subway station. Everything was perfect, I will definitely comeback again.

The atmosphere is excellent. The rooms and common area small, however very efficient and welcoming. You can sit out and read a book, sip on coffee or a beer and chat with others. Really enjoyed the hosts and the lovely group of other travelers. The location is excellent. The hosts do a great job of helping the travellers have fun, book things like tours and hair cuts etc. They also put together a nice efficient simple breakfast of bread, cereal, boiled eggs, peanut butter and jam. Considering this is a budget hostel - the Breakfast is thoughtful and filling.

Good vibes and beautiful friends!
Amazing hostel. Such good vibes, feels like home and the social atmosphere is next level. If you want to make friends to explore Seoul with, you will have no trouble rounding up a group for whatever activity your heart desires. Breakfast is next level, peanut butter AND soymilk, my two favorites! Jina and Brian are really helpful with giving advice and suggestions. Look no further, stay here!

Very good stay from start to finish with a personal touch and good social atmosphere. Good location in the centre of hongdae very close to train stations and restaurants. Private double room very comfortable.

Quiet location and close to Hongdae. With no soundproof, it can get noisy with guests who stay past quiet hours. Convenient transportation to and from Incheon airport. Staffs are friendly and helpful.

Nice place to stay near Hongdae
Friendly staff, nice and clean room, great location in Hapjeong (near hongdae, where is more quiet if you wanna get a freat night sleep) — love the location best cuz you can get to Hongdae, Sangsu (where has great food and music venue) and Mangwon (lots of cool small coffee shop around the area, while Mangwon market is also amazing— lots of delicious cuisine and vendors inside). And Jina and Bryan are fantastic hosts for sure! Super nice and helpful!

Great location and easy to find
The hosts Jina and Brian are incredibly lovely and helpful. The subway station is a few minutes walk and you are within walking distance of a convenience store for quick handy purchases. There is a Korean restaurant about a 1 min walk from the guesthouse and it is beyond delicious. Although it says it's a hostel, there is a 11pm noise curfew so it's also suitable if you aren't into partying every night and staying up late. But the surrounding area offers more than enough night life for every night of the week. Take note though if you are over 30, many of the clubs will not let you in! Bars are fine though and do not have age limits.

Great Stay!
The owners were extremely friendly and accommodating! I was able to check in early and check out late. They were super helpful with recommendations, and though they live in a residential neighborhood (this means no partying at the hostel), they are also very close to a party/university area. The rooms, showers, and bathrooms were extremely clean and cozy. Definitely will be going back go Zzip next time I'm back in Korea! Thanks again, Jina and Brian!

Great place but outside noise kept me awake
The hostel is in a great location, 5 mins from metro and also lively restaurant and shopping area. The owner was great, spoke English well and was very helpful. The rooms were really clean with new bathroom but I found the 6 bed dorm to be overcrowded and dark with no filter for any noise coming from the courtyard at night

Great Stay, Nice Location
Was warmly welcomed the moment I stepped into the guesthouse, and immediately liked the place already. Bryan and Jina were really friendly and helpful too. The room itself was very clean and bed was comfortable. I stayed for 9 nights and enjoyed every moment of it. :) Location was very convenient, walking distance to hongdae.

Close to transportation and many good cafes and restaurants nearby. The guesthouse is also very close to gs25 convenient store and chimaek restaurant---chicken and beer. Ask Gina and Bryan anything, they are more than happy to help you out.

Incredibly Friendly Owner, Prime Location
I cannot recommend Zzzip guesthouse highly enough. This hostel really puts all others to shame. This hostel is tucked away quietly in Hapjeong a location just 5-10 minutes walk from Hongdae, a major nightlife area, with only a two minute walk to the closest station. Gina and Brian the owners of the hostel are extremely friendly and helpful, they organised my SIM card, ordered me food to the hostel and provided great recommendations for exciting places in Seoul. The rooms and the facilities themselves are very clean and they provide linen and pillows. Each room (of four or six) has its own shower and toilet, with soap and shampoo provided. There is also AC in each room. There is a morning breakfast and a spacious chill out area in the hostel which is great for meeting new people. If you're thinking about a hostel in Seoul, look no further.

A Gem in the Center of Seoul
My very first time to stay in a guest house. It's amazing! I met other travelers from all over the world and they are young and very polite. The family atmosphere there is just like home. It's always quiet and full of excitement in the air. The hosts are very friendly and warm. I am so glad I made a great choice.

Excellent for Backpackers!
I've had an extremely pleasant stay and I really can't ask for better hosts, Jinah & Bryan are really the best! They have been so helpful and kind, giving me recommendations on where to go and what to do. They also offered discount coupons which were really useful when I went to the Dragon Hill Spa & Everland. I've also had a pleasant sleep at the hostel (not that I slept much) and it's extremely near to Hapjeong station. The dining and breakfast area was also a great place to meet new people, especially when travelling alone. Met a lot of cool people and made a lot of new friends there. Lots of good memories and if I were ever to go back to Seoul, Zzzip will definitely be my first choice!

Good choice in Seoul
I stayed 3 nights in ZZZip. The owners Bryan and Jina are very friendly and helpful. The are considerately provided a video as guideline to the guesthouse. It just takes 5 minutes walk from Hapjeong Station. Hapjeong is a good location to go everywhere. I enjoy having breakfast everyday in the common room which have lot of sunshine. I was given a free sim card. It's the first time for me to have such service in my travel life. Amazing.

Nice hotel and hotel staff near Hongdae
I was staying in this hotel last week,. I have to say the impression of this hotel is more than I expected. The design and the rooms are about the same as others guesthouse however hotel staffs are very nice and have a warm welcome. Because of that I kind of didn't mind anything about the room sizing.

Home away from home
Zzzip Guest House is an amazing place to stay. Close to the action in Hongdae area but in a quiet place. The emphasis on meeting other travelers and the constant presence of the owners, Bryan and Jina, is what makes it very special. Bryan and Jina are so helpful to all their guests, will help them make reservations, recommendations and are just fantastic people. Breakfast was good, toast and cereal with an array of beverages. The emphasis on eating in the common room really encourages meeting and socializing which is a nice atmosphere for travelers. This guesthouse is very welcoming and worth a visit.

朝食ついての料金は非常に安く、比較的駅には近いので便利でしたが旅行者利用には向いていない。洗面とか使いにくかったし、寝具とかも枕と薄い賭け毛布だけで少し臭いがあり、使用しませんでした。 明洞からは電車利用だと直通ではないので乗り換えが面倒でした。

こんにちは！ 旅行者向けじゃなくて、明洞で食べたり遊びたい人は特にホンデあたりに泊まらなくていいとおっしゃった方がいいと思います。 寝具も毎日キレイに洗濯し、暖房も十分に入ってるので、特に問題はないと思われます。 そして明洞駅まで直通の電車はありますが、案内したようにウルジロ駅が明洞エリアで、20分で行けます。 ホテルではなく、韓国の家を体験できるという所にゲストハウスの良さがありますが、分かっていただけてなくて残念です。

中学校の正門のすぐ前だった。中学校の方を見ていて通り過ぎてしまった。朝食にパンとコーヒーやジュースやゆで卵があった。過ごしやすいと思う。

本当は教えたくない！！
本当は教えたくないゲストハウス！ホンデも徒歩圏内だし近くにはおしゃれなカフェも沢山！スタッフの方は日本語堪能なので日本人は安心して泊まれるゲストハウスだと思います！

Good location close to Hapjeong metro station. The owners were very friendly, especially Jina! She gave me and my friend hot packs before we went to the Pyeongchang Olympic Games; those were needed! I can recommend this guesthouse :)
