Relaxing River Getaway

The Lake Nolte Retreat was a relaxing river getaway. There’s a lot packed into this property. The fire pit, the deck on the water, the grill, the kayak’s, all were great additions to our experience. It’s a relaxing way to kick back and get “back to the basics” of life. I give it 5 🌟 and I will be back soon!

We enjoyed our stay.

We came for the final 4 in San Antonio and had a lovely stay. The property was amazing and the house had everything we needed and more. We highly recommend this lovely and quiet place to stay!

The area was quiet and peaceful, the whole property was comfortable and relaxing, the kids loved the easy access to the river, and being able to use the kayaks and other water toys made nice we did not have to worry about anything. They provided the life jackets as well to keep us safe! That was a huge plus for this mama to enjoy this! we loved the whole property!

Relaxing stay

My husband and I had a great stay here! It was very peaceful and relaxing! The owners were super communicative and easy to reach, they were also very friendly. This place had everything you could need for you stay. Great place! Will be back!

Great stay at a beautiful home

Laura had everything we needed for a fun-filled, relaxing weekend getaway! We enjoyed kayaking, sitting on the deck with morning coffee, and making smores with the fire pit at night. Would definitely recommend!!!

Relaxing retreat

The place is just lovely! Very peaceful and quiet. Had a fully furnished full kitchen for us to cook a full Thanksgiving meal!! The private backyard lake view was beautiful!! My family loved our stay at Lake Nolte Retreat!!!

The most helpful and friendly host I have ever stayed with anywhere in the world

Laura was, without a doubt, the most helpful and friendly host I have ever stayed with anywhere in the world. She contacted me several days prior to my stay and made sure that I was aware of what opportunities were in the area and the best places for activities and dining. The tiny house was fully equipped, clean, and comfortable. The location was beautiful and peaceful. There are lots of little touches to make the stay perfect. I can't wait to stay again.

Cute little place on a river

The house was just perfect for 2 adults (a couple of kids would fit nicely in the loft) Nicely appointed and well equipped. It has great sitting areas from the porch to the waterside deck. We would have used the water toys but the weather wasn’t cooperating and the river was very low. We hope they get rain soon! Great communication & directions from the owners.

Everything we needed and more...

It is obvious that a lot of thought went into this home, as it had everything (and more) that we needed to make our stay comfortable and convenient. Ideal location, close to stores and shops but tucked into a quiet and peaceful area of town. Very clean! Laura was also super sweet and helpful. One of the kindest and most at helpful hosts I’ve had.

So cute!!

The property was well kept and very cute! There were multiple hangout spots outside, everything we needed was provided, and the sleeping arrangements were comfortable. Unfortunately we didn’t get to cool off or hang in the water due to the amount of moss floating. The moss was mentioned in the description and appreciate the honest communication.

Perfect Getaway!

This is a jewel! Everything is top-notch and immaculate. You will find that the home is beautifully decorated, has stunning views of the countryside and river, a fully appointed, upscale kitchen, premium bedding and comfortable beds, a big TV that actually is easy to use, wonderful air conditioning and amazing hosts, should you need anything. Walking out the front door, you have a choice of 4 private patio/decks to comfortably recline under the shade or enjoy a BBQ dinner, propane grill included! There are kayaks and paddle boards for your enjoyment, and great places to throw out a fishing line! The serene setting is addictive... you won't want to leave. But should you need to go grocery shopping, or want to eat out, the quaint little town of Seguin is full of surprises with coffee shops, the HEB, Texas BBQ, Wal-Mart, etc. We are so looking forward to returning!

Beautiful Spot on Lake

small house with a beautiful view and lots of good outdoor seating, lots of kayaks and other floats available to use. Loft height is really low--fyi if have adults sleeping up there. clean and had everything we needed.
