The Inn at the Tides

10/10 Excellent

"This is a charming place to stay with a huge room with great views. There was a fireplace and seating area as well. The bathroom was large and comfortable with good amenities. They left us a bottle of wine but no water. When I asked the front desk for a bottle they told me to buy it at the gas station. I ended up buying a bottle from their restaurant. The bartender Raul was a delight! Very friendly and he made a perfect cappuccino and when I asked for water, he said no problem and put it on our bill. I would recommend The Tides as a very nice place to stay. Note no air conditioning, but windows you can open and catch a nice breeze. Very nice staff."

"There seems to a plumbing issue going on with the property. Granted that it's 3 stories but the drainage does not seem to work very well when the shower is running and toilet is very slow flushing. The water pipes rattled a bit as well when turned on. AC unit was ok, not great. The bed was comfortable and the room itself was very quiet."
