There were many broken things, elevator, TV picture was green and purple had to reboot to watch a channel. Water cooler in gym didn’t work. And lastly they charged my card 2x, which I have to follow up on. Staff was friendly. Valet guy was very nice. The decor was fun and liked the overall hotel. A lot of little things broken was a bit off though.

Great location for a visit to UW. Super convenient light rail one block from hotel... easy ride to Downtown, Pikes Market, and also to/from Airport!! Do not Uber! Light rail costs a fraction and is very easy to navigate! Hotel staff and general facility very friendly and pleasant, rooms very clean and attractive... the only two areas that were less than glowing were bed comfort (sorry...not comfy) and noise... perhaps on lower level quite a lot of street noise if have windows open. Overall fabulous experience, especially for price... would stay again!

Wonderful atmosphere and close to the university. The rooftop restaurant bar is great. Easy access to the metro. The streets can be dirty and gritty.

Loved the decor- such great furniture and deco vibe. Staff friendly- usually only one person at front desk, but very helpful. Our room was lovely. Bathtub was nice and deep. Felt like I was in an apartment rather than a hotel room. Super convenient to the light rail which is just right across the street. Price affordable and used valet so parking was easy.

This hotel is miserable. I don't know how they have such good reviews with the issues they have. The hotel is in a pretty bad location, then the rooms are absolutely nasty. Dirty, unclean bedsheets, unclean bathroom with used q tips on the ground. Food and crumbs on the floor. Dirt and hair on the pillows, the main door doesn't shut or latch correctly and doesn't have a lock. If you pushed a little bit from the outside it would open. The ac doesn't work, it blasts heat all the time. And the staff is untrained. I'm shocked this is a hotel still functioning. Plus, you have a mandatory valet parking ($45) for each stay because there aren't any other parking options. The parking garage isn't visible and not accommodating. The location is sketchy and very much so not a good location as far as people and things around the hotel. I'm heavily disappointed. I also ordered food, paid for it and they wouldn't bring it up (heavily pregnant lady). They left it on the counter all night. This hotel is one of the worst I've been in.

We also attempted to contact you on several occasions to confirm that it was your food at the desk and if it was okay to bring up to your room but never got a response. We hope that you give us another chance in the future to surpass your expectations.

Upon checking in I was hopeful we’d have a great stay! We were going to do an early check in but ended up arriving late so the staff let us know we would not be charged for it. However, we were. I could hear every single conversation and toilet flush/shower of the rooms next to us the entire time, the fitness center had half the equipment out of order, water was out for several days as well. We requested a mini fridge in our room and it was never brought up. Made it very hard to relax being able to hear everything. I wouldn’t stay again.

The lobby of this hotel is stunning! It’s definitely a refurbished, older hotel and a little rundown. The elevators are incredibly slow and make some scary noises but the hotel rooms are cute and clean and well decorated. I stored my luggage with the front desk while I walked around town until my room was ready, and it came back covered in white dust, which none of us could figure out, it was easy to clean, but very weird. we had some weird Gast interactions which was not at all the hotels fault but otherwise it was a lovely place to spend an evening and the area was walkable and safe and had a lot of affordable food options since it’s right next to the college

This hotel was in a great location and very convenient. My feedback would be to include a mini fridge in the rooms and have more helpful assistance on recommendations for parking if guests don’t want to use valet. I called the hotel prior to checking in and the person I spoke to was not the most helpful with explaining options.

Parking was limited and expensive at hotel. Extensive construction made for noisy and dirty walks anywhere in University district. Coffee shop was great and Mountaineer Club was an absolute find. Staff was helpful and rooms were very well appointed.
