Tried to switch us to a different type of room!!
Got there and went to our room to find that the hallway and the room both smelled like an ashtray. Was surprised that we were in a smoking room since our reservation was specifically for a non-smoking queen room. Went back to the desk and was told that though my paperwork said queen non-smoking that was only a request and all that they had to do was give us a room and it didn't have to be the same type as I had reserved. After some arguing with the staff they finally moved us to the type of room we reserved but kept telling us it was the fault of expedia and not their fault.
Got into room and found a dead big squished on the wall as we walked in. Also found someone else's hair in the shower. We had to move the nightstand out from the wall to plug in a phone charger and found a french fry on the floor.
Was led to believe on line when I made the reservation that the hotel offered a hot breakfast at no charge, their idea of a breakfast was a counter top that had muffins, fruit and granola bars sitting on it with a coffee pot that you could help yourself to. Not what I was expecting at all.
The staff was not helpful, the room was not clean and they tried to put us in the wrong type of room........will NEVER stay at this hotel again or recommend it to anyone that I know.
