The Space:
Settle into a relaxed, coastal home base designed for simple, comfortable downtime between adventures. With three bedrooms and two full bathrooms, the home sleeps up to 7 and works well for families or a small group.
The main living area flows out to outdoor seating—great for morning coffee or an evening barbecue on the grill. After a day on the trails or at the beach, unwind in the private hot tub under the stars. A dining area makes it easy to gather for meals, and a DVD player sets you up for low-key movie nights. You’ll also have a private washer and dryer to keep gear fresh throughout your stay.

Important Things to Note
• WiFi is provided; however, due to our rural location and areawide infrastructure, speed and reliability can vary and are not guaranteed. Cell service can also be spotty throughout the area.
• The Historic Sea Ranch Chapel and Sea Ranch Lodge (restaurant and shopping) are nearby community highlights.
• RVs, trailers, and mobile homes are not permitted anywhere in Sea Ranch.
• Parking: Parking is available for 2 vehicles. Parking passes are required and will be found in the guest packet inside the home. Sea Ranch does not allow overnight parking on the street. No additional parking beyond what’s described.
• Pets: This home is not pet friendly. Please plan accordingly; if evidence of a pet is found, an additional cleaning fee will apply.
Additional:
• Private washer and dryer are available for guest use.
• Check in is at 4:00 PM and checkout is at 10:00 AM. We cannot guarantee or approve early check in or late checkout requests in advance.
• We recommend considering travel insurance, just in case any unexpected changes come up. We do stick to our cancellation policy and want to make sure you're covered!
• We provide bedding, towels and a small starter set of essentials to help get you settled. Feel free to message us for details on what’s included.

Getting Around:
Sea Ranch offers a 50-mile trail system with public beach access points, plus three recreation centers with outdoor pools, locker rooms, half-basketball court, and tennis courts (amenities vary by center). Facility reservations for pool and tennis are available on the Sea Ranch Association website.

Our stay at this property was pleasant. The property was clean and comfortable, and we appreciated the peaceful, partial ocean view. The location on the west side of Route 1 was very convenient for accessing the beach and coastal walks. Being towards the north of Sea Ranch & close to Gualala made trips to the shops fairly easy. We found it to be a good base for our travels and exploring the area. We would definately stay here again.

Exactly as advertised. An absolutely beautiful setting with the ocean in the distance. We were even able to see whales from the back deck when we arrived. The house is well appointed with all the basics. We look forward to going again in the future.

Beautiful home!
This home was perfect for our family with 2 master bedrooms. It is well equipped and has a great hot tub in the courtyard. It’s located close to Gualala and just short drives to the beaches. Also a perk for the grandkids is that the pool at Olsen rec center is right across the street!

We had a lovely week at Sea Ranch, with a multi-aged family group. The house was comfortable and well-kept. We came looking for a relaxing time and space to play on the coast and escape the heat. It worked. It was especially lovely to have the community pool just across the street!

A little dated. Realized when I arrived my family and I had stayed here 8 years ago. Still looks the same with the exception of updated stove and range. Weather was rainy entire trip but we made the best of it. Swam in every pool, had beaches to ourselves. Took my 4th graders to Fort Ross who are studying California Missions and stopped at Sonoma Mission on our way. Kids enjoyed themselves regardless of weather. The house could add some games for these rainy visits.

Great home close to the pool
We had a lovely stay in Sea Ranch. The home was set up nicely for our three generation group, with grandparents and young kids. The hot tub was large and worked great. The dining area was great for larger meals and games. And being across the street from the pool was a win, too. The house was clean and had such a lovely view.
We arrived after historic rains that brought in lots of ants. The management company was responsive and sent more traps. They listened to our feedback and worked to smooth over any issues.
Note for those with especially sensitive noses: the smaller queen bedroom smelled of stale smoke in the walls. It was only an issue for the extra sensitive, but no one else. And it would likely be fine in nicer weather with the windows open.
All in all, we were happy with our stay and would love to stay on our next Sea Ranch adventure.

Excellent layout and comfortable for family and dogs.
I would say that we found both the positive and negative reviews of this house to be accurate. The positives: It is conveniently located off of Hwy 1 close to Gualala and is directly across the street from the rec center. It has a super layout- a lovely courtyard with nice landscaping that gives the kids and the dogs a little extra room to move without tons of supervision, the roomy living room and deck are nice places to hang out and the kitchen has a window to the courtyard so it doesn't feel too bad to do dishes while on vacation. There are nearby homes but they are not intrusive in any way and the south facing exposure makes for a beautiful view of a meadow. The negatives: The house hasn't been updated in 20+ years... the racks of the dishwasher are shot, the oven is small and had dropping heating element that made cooking for Thanksgiving extra challenging, the dryer vents minimally, the hot water barely makes it through three short showers, the "low flow toilets" flush poorly and the entire house needs a paint job. All said it was easy to take the negatives in stride but good to go in with realistic expectations.

Several Plusses, but needs Attention
Good home for dogs, with fenced interior courtyard. Interior layout nice, with master suite on one side of house, other bdrms/ba on other end, with kitchen, dining and living in between. Well appointed and comfortable. Master bed and bath are somewhat exposed to rooms and deck of house next door, window coverings would go a long way here. Easy access north or south to Bluff trail, and only a few minutes from Gualala. Kitchen well stocked with excellent cooktop and counter-top appliances. Water pressure very low, and hot water takes time.
Unfortunately, short and long term maintenance seem to be an afterthought. Paint on walls, window sills, and corners was quite marred, with a hole in the drywall in the entry from the door handle. Dishes and glassware weren't clean, a filter full of old, dry coffee grounds was left in the coffeemaker. The dining table was so sticky that fabric from the placements stuck to the table. You would be well served bringing your own linens.
The hot tub contained thousands of drowned ants, with no tools we could find to clean them out... thus a service call. The name of the Wi-Fi network had been changed without the rental agency being notified...another service call. These two issues required one visit and several phone calls to resolve, time no guest should need to waste.
None of these issues are terminal, but they should be checked and validated before guests arrive.

Great place in a great resort.
Our family had a wonderful time at this property! The house was clean, spacious, and well equipped. There's a slight ocean view and no neighbor views. Spa was also clean and perfectly operational. Proximity to the Del Mar center center was great for pool access. We didn't have any additional contact with the owners but only because it was not necessary with the thorough welcome packet instructions and ease of the house. Thank you!

Sea Ranch Haven
This property was everything we hoped for. My husband, 2 small children (4yo and 8mo old), and in laws stayed in the open, spacious home. You can see the ocean through the trees while you sit on the back deck. The 3 rooms were perfect for our family, giving enough space for everyone, and our son loved the bunk beds. The hot tub was a wonderful relaxing addition. Loved our stay and would love to come again!

Great sized house with convenient front porch for small children. Great neighborhood and distance to ocean. House was a little dirty with spider webs and dead bugs. Kitchen appliances were dated but worked. Hot tub was nice. Communication with management was pleasant much better than what previous renters mentioned in reviews.

Grand Welcome is terrible
There are pros and cons to this property! The pros are : The home has a lovely layout, bright and airy with the large living room, and a very well equipped kitchen. The location of the home and privacy on the back deck coupled with the landscaping in the courtyard make this a very comfortable home to enjoy at all times of the day! Terrific. The cons are: communication with Grand Welcome (GW) is poor, they have an attitude and are very inflexible to allowing a slightly early check in - 15 MINUTES! Really?? And nobody was in the protest prior to us! After renting for 40 yrs in Sea Ranch through many agencies, I will never rent a home where they are the local contact org. VRBO should NOT do business with them. The home is tired and needs plaster repairs throughout and needed a full dusting. Cobwebs were in all the window corners in all the rooms. The carpet is stained and the front door lock is intermittently broken. Each day we could NOT get OUT of the front door. It would not unlock. We’d have to exit out a back sliding glass door, walk to the front door, and re enter using the key. Other times it was fine! We had ants accumulate through out 5 days in the master bathroom. Started as a non issue and we left with quite a collection. All these items should be brought to the attention of the owner.

We love this house and location!! The house was close to the beautiful Del Mar pool and tennis facility. That being said it wasn’t communicated well by management that renters can’t use the pool in this time of Covid, especially since they gave a pool pass in our welcome packet when checking in.The weather was beautiful and we saw lots of wildlife.
We definitely would like to come to this house again as we are big lovers of Sea Ranch. We have been coming since I was a young child, our Kids were children and now with our grandkids.

One of the best homes in Sea Ranch
Sunny, warm, comfortable, tastefully decorated, peaceful house located within a short time walking distance to the Del Mar pool. Our family visits Sea Ranch for over 25 years but never stayed at Blair house before this time and we all declared this home to be our best. I am a bit concerned about telling the world about it because it might means that there will be more takers, in the future, with less possibilities to rent for us.... :)))

Last summer retreat
Great get a way! Enjoyed the view and nature surrounding. We liked walking to the bluff every day for sunset...the house is spacious and comfortable for us and our dogs. It was an easy end of summer vaca from Healdsburg.

Comfortable home
One of the nicer dog friendly homes, this house has a nicely landscaped, fenced courtyard that allows "putting the dog out" without having to don your shoes and a leash! Great for a small, quiet dog.
Kitchen was well equipped, if not disorganized (what can you expect with so many visitors?).
Maintenance a bit lacking.... several of the lights were out, especially the one over the dining table, making game playing challenging.
Great big shower in master suite, but house hot water takes forever! An easy fix would be to install a recirculating pump into the hot water system to get the water to the showers more quickly..... that would be a big save on water use as well!
A nice deck outside, which would be a great dining spot in warm weather. Close to Del Mar Center and pool (across the street), easy access to Hwy 1 and quick to Gualala for grocery shopping, etc.
As with most houses in Sea Ranch, internet is spotty.
Great sun exposure for winter time, when sun shines the whole house warms up!
Minimal view to ocean, but the walk to the bluffs is nice through a tree-lined path a few streets to the north.
Equipped with dish soap, bar soap, shampoo, and hand lotion. There were also coffee filters, garbage bags, and foil, plastic wrap, paper towels, and place mats.
Fireplace needs some signage as to which way damper is open! Smoke detectors work!
I'd give the house a strong B and stay again, if lighting was fixed.
