Overall we had a really wonderful stay. Made excellent use of the fireplace and kitchen and really relaxed. Communication with our host couldn’t have been better— we really appreciated the quick responses. A few issues with the hot tub breaker so there were a few times we weren’t able to use the hot tub (a main reason we booked the place) but once we finally figured out how to fix it we were good. Bedrooms are downstairs and a bit musty-smelling, one in particular very strong, which fortunately we didn’t need on this trip as it was just the two of us. Loved being so close to the Moonraker rec center and had that cute heated pool all to myself (February rain not popular for swimming, I guess). Thank you!

Quick weekend getaway

This property was perfect! So quiet and private, and the kitchen was well appointed which does not always happen in rental properties. The place was clean and I would go back there again and again!

Always Wonderful

I was here for the third time for a solo getaway and I had the best time! The place is just perfect for a long stay or a quick getaway, well-stocked, comfy beds, scenic forest setting for the hot tub whether you're enjoying the sunshine or peeking at the stars through the redwood canopy. The location is unbeatable if you want quiet, yet just-out-the-front -door access to the incredible Sea Ranch trail system.

A wonderful escape

We really enjoyed our short visit in this beautiful home. The location in the forest is serene and relaxing with easy access to the beach and great hiking trails. The home is clean and well-equipped and very quiet. Unfortunately the hot tub was not working during our visit so we look forward to returning again so we can try it out.

Magical!

This wooded cabin has everything you need for an enchanting stay! This was our second time in this cottage and we just loved it! The huge trees just outside the dramatic windows are breathtaking, and the location can't be beat - a trailhead awaits just a couple of houses down. Kitchen is well stocked, the house is squeaky clean, beds are comfy, and fireplace is so nice after a day of exploring. We can't wait to come back!

Redwoods calm

Charming, serene home in the redwoods. Let the natural beauty soothe you. We felt like we were living among the trees. We enjoyed the peace and tranquility of this beautiful setting. A wonderful place to get away from it all. Plenty of hiking trails nearby and the gorgeous Sea Ranch community never disappoints.

Cozy and warm spot in the redwoods

This was a great spot in the redwoods! The house was clean and well stocked with amenities. The two bedrooms were on the lower (ground) floor, but the living areas and front door were up the flight of stairs. There was a back door for entry at ground level.

Great Redwood Escape

This is a special/spiritual property. Buried in Redwood trees. Five miles from SRL, way up in the private redwoods. We never left the property, after arriving. A great experience we will never forget. Fully furnished. I would definitely book again. Many Thanks. The Jacuzzi was awesome and much needed.

Tree House

Lovely simple house in the trees. Three stories all in trees. Hot tub.Two cozy bedrooms downstairs. Living room and well appointed kitchen on middle floor and a recreation room on top. Easy access to trails both in woods and along the ocean. My friend and I and both our dogs felt right at home and far away from the daily worries of home!

Hideaway in the Trees

We had a lovely time at the property, which was very private amongst the redwoods. The unit contained everything we needed for a restful visit and the kitchen was well equipped. Even the barbecue outside was ready with charcoal! We loved the outdoor hot tub and the indoor wood burning fireplace. Plenty of firewood and kindling provided. Catherine was very responsive. Highly recommend this property! Also convenient to the Sea Ranch Lodge, which we enjoyed for evening cocktails. Loved the kayak rentals on the Gualala River. Beautiful spot.

Cabin in the woods feel

It was a fine place to stay. It had everything I needed and seemed clean. The beds were more squishy than I like, but they were fine for a couple of nights. It is at the top of a big hill and in the woods so harder to access the bluff trails which make Sea Ranch so great for me. My friend and I also had a very hard time accessing the Wi-Fi and had to try multiple times before getting it to work. This was challenging, as I arrived alone and had no service for miles.

Relaxing getaway!!

Very nice getaway for my husband and I. Plus we brought our dog too! We were able to enjoy the ocean and mountains. Nice place inside and out. So quiet and serene. This was an anniversary gift to ourselves and well worth it.
