Built in this 1930s sandstone cottage, the walls ring of history while offering the amenities of modern life. The house offers 1 large master bedroom with King bed and beautiful hardwood floors, then two more beautiful Queen bedrooms as well with a full kitchen, dining room, living room, a full bath in main area with Jacuzzi bathtub and separate shower, and also a full bath in the carport, and can sleep up 6 adults comfortably. This house also has a sofa hide a bed in the living-room. All three bedrooms have recently been renovated and are very nice. The scenery is beautiful, lots of attractions in the area. The Rock House is in a nice area that puts you close to Fort Payne, Little River Canyon Nature Preserve, and Desoto State Park, just to name a few attractions. The house is an older type farm house, the amenities are excellent, the property owner is very friendly and kind. We will for sure stay again! ##### Paul H. The Rock House was about as perfect as a stay can get. The kids stayed in bunks like camp growing up, and we all had a great time playing games and just being together as a family. The Rock House is located closed to the Mentone area, as well as Desoto Falls as well as a 10 minute ride to Ft. Payne when needed. We have already begun to plan to go back next year, and if our schedules allow us to do that, the Rock House is where we want to stay.
