If your vision of your Savannah vacation involves walking everywhere then this is perfect! King bed, updated appliances, extra tall windows overlooking a city square. Ideal home base for a romantic trip where driving is never necessary and museums, shops, restaurants, bars and historic attractions are around every corner. Television and sofa pullout bed in the living room. ​​​​​​​ This is on the 2nd floor (one flight of stairs) and there is no elevator. This is unsuitable for anyone who cannot walk up stairs. We are lucky to have a 24/7 garage access card for our guests at this condo. The garage is two blocks away from the building and parking for one car is covered with a small $15 flat fee to use our access card. If you do not wish to use our garage card or have additional vehicles, all day parking on street and at select parking garages is best handled by downloading the ParkSavannah App to pay for any numbered space through an app of your phone. Guests please be aware: We are an "integrated partner" with VRBO/Expedia/HomeAway. Your credit card will show the rent/tax/cleaning portion of your charges under our company name because Integrated Partners are required to be the Merchant Of Record per VRBO terms of service. Only your "service fee" charged by VRBO will show on your credit card statement as a charge from that company. Please be sure anyone who oversees your credit card statement is aware of this to avoid any confusion. If you book on VRBO you will have already agreed to our basic rules and terms (no smoking, no pets, capacity limit, check in/out times, refund policy etc) on the VRBO checkout page. We flew in, got a taxi to take us to our room and used the trolley service and walked to everything we wanted to do. Lots of great places to eat nearby, CVS right across the street, and trolley stop was less than a block away! You must eat at Collins Quarter, Toast'd, and Smokehouse (excellent BBQ!). The kitchen was great for breakfast and lounging around in the morning. We went to the local Krogers and bought some supplies for the week. The condo was located right across the street from one of the city squares/parks which are all beautiful! This unit is located within the historic district which is close to many points of interest as well as restaurants which are in walking distance. There is no need to rent a car as everything is within walking distance or you can utilize the hop on hop off tours. This was a great first time experience visiting Savannah. Some people have complained about noise from the street, but this really wasn't an issue and there was a sound machine there if we needed it. There was no issue with the drapes covering the windows either, that must have been referring to prior window coverings. Also, the floor was dirty and we could see dirt and debris either on our feet or socks even on our first day. The bed was comfy and couch was fine but the space is not optimal for staying inside. There is plenty of things to do in Savannah though! It was the perfect size for myself and my 13 year old daughter. Perfectly located on the corner of Bull Street overlooking Wright square we were in and out all day long. There are several churches nearby that have chiming bells in the morning (we were up anyway) so I would suggest earplugs if you are a light sleeper (they do provide a noise machine and blackout drapes). Only suggestion is HOOKS. Such a cheap and easy fix that would make the stay so much more comfortable for guests. There was absolutely nowhere for my daughter and I to hang our towels. Right across from Wright park. Only about 3 blocks away are a lot of shops, restaurants and entertainment venues. Apartment - perfect for 2 people. Very clean and safe. There is a keypad lock on both the apartment door as well as to get into the building. You will absolutely want to take advantage of the parking deck card they provide. We parked once we arrived and never drove again, walked everywhere. Bed very comfortable. Make sure to bring earplugs for sleeping - Old buildings with old windows in Savannah and the cars at night can get loud. During the day it was not an issue. Bring a firestick if you want to watch TV in the bedroom. Internet was good. Overall, great place - if I go back to Savannah I plan to stay here again. ##### Kevin A. Notifing Mary was easy and seamless! Upon arriving and climbing the stairs, we opened the door to the VRBO, & it was just as described. Clean, well up kept, and comfortable furniture. The place is in the middle of the hussle and bussle of Savannah, which was amazing! You really get to emerse yourself in the culture & history of this beautiful city. Although you are able to hear whats going on outside, it really wasn't that bad and very easy to sleep. The bed was comfortable, with pleanty of extra blankets & pillows. The shower had great water pressure & plenty of hot water. There were plenty of linen & towels for the longer stay. The only suggestion I would make is to have the carpets in the hallway cleaned as the hallway does have a musty smell. This place is truly a gem, and we really enjoyed staying here. ##### Brandi L.
