The room was excellent, especially with the balcony overlooking the river. The staff was friendly, available and always helpful. Our second time here and if we come back to Savannah it'll where we will stay.

Beautiful location and such a lovely old building. We loved it. It had some construction going on but it's an old building so what are you going to do? It did not take away from the stay at all. I would go again in a heartbeat!

This hotel was the perfect spot to watch the Christmas boat parade!

This property provided immediate access to the river street area. Parking was a hassle - valet available but costly and limited hours of availability. Hotel rooms facing if the city were loud due to Bay street and tourist traffic.

This hotel was very charming, classic & historic. The staff was a delight & the room very clean. It is also in walking distance to everything -which we loved. I only gave 4 stars for property condition and area around b/c we were in the 3rd floor which was below the lobby level. Even though our room was so charming, historic & clean -we felt like we were in the basement. I clicked city view but it was an alley view & at night we could hear people -very loudly screaming & walking through the alley which was a little scary & creepy. Definitely book this hotel -it’s a gem -just ask to be above the 4th floor

The property is absolutely beautiful and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location right on River street is fabulous for shopping and great restaurants. Highly recommend!

The hotel is in a very convenient and pretty spot on the water. The staff was very friendly and was very helpful with available parking options as well as recommendations for dining. The managers reception/happy hour was an enjoyable start to the evening. There was some construction being done near one of the restaurants and porta potties were being utilized. That wasn't very pleasant. At the time of my stay there was a lot of activity on the waterfront...it was VERY noisy (music/announcements).

I stayed in room 326 which is right under the main lobby. It was loud at times. My party and I had to ask for toilet paper several times. Chris with the valet service was super friendly and helpful.

I loved the historical nature of the property and area. The hotel IS haunted and that's one of the main reasons I stayed there as I'm a paranormal investigator. That hotel did NOT disappoint in this regard!

I checked into the property and gave the front desk a credit card for incidentals. The immediately charged my card $1,500 for the whole stay without even telling me the total or that they were running my card. We discovered it because my amex card gives me alerts for large purchases. I had PREPAID my room through Expedia. I have used Expedia for at least 20 years all over the world and NEVER had this happen. When I told the front desk I prepaid they said "this happens a lot" then told me to talk to the manager tomorrow. I talked to a different front desk girl and the manager was "busy" and never bothered to come talk to me. They said they fixed it and the hold would eventually fall off my card. I am in a position where I can handle a large hold but what if I did not have the spending power on my card to accomidate? That is not a small amount and could have limited or ruined someones spending power on their vacation. When I asked if it was cleared up at check out the front desk person said I could alway prove I paid with my credit card. I have never had such horrible customer service at a hotel before. I don't feel they meet up to Expedia standards. They also had loud construction going on right outside our room. We had to walk through plastic and other patrons called to complain about morning loud noise. I have in the past received emails warning me about construction and were very considerate from hotels I booked with you. I now find myself less confident booking with you.

We absolutely love the old charm but just keep in mind that the hotel is under construction so if you don’t mind a little extra noise in the morning and some workers around it is wonderful. It is going to be absolutely beautiful when the renovation is complete.

Savannah is historically amazing and the River Street Inn is beautiful, unique and the staff are wonderful and very helpful. We arrived at 11:00 and could check in which was super. The renovational work is truly amazing and there is an active workshop on premises making many new upgrades and changes. Just the BEST Sue C.

Good location. Very dark room. Lack of information about the recent flood that really made the stay not worth the price. Couldn’t use the room deck area, other amenities unavailable but not explained. It will be nice when the repairs are completed.

The hotel’s historical significance was very evident which I loved. The location was excellent-close to shopping, restaurants and water. The front desk staff could have been more welcoming but that wasn’t such big deal to me. My issue was my room… It was clean but the furniture set up was weird. There was no where for you to put your belongings besides a chair or the bed. I looked into the room across from me and it had a desk and what appeared to be a little sitting area. My room could have at least had a desk. Another thing that bothered me is the cleaning staff doesn’t clean the room, they just make the bed and give you new towels. They didn’t even wipe down the sink or shower which both could have used some attention. One other thing which isn’t the hotel’s fault but something to be mindful of which is the noise. You are literally in the thick of things so you get all that comes with it which includes noise all times of the night. My room was on the 2nd floor which is really 2 floors below the main lobby faced a walking path so I got all the pedestrian noise and what sounded like restaurant staff pushing containers on wheels. If you face the water you get all the music, laughing, shouting and vehicles until the wee hours of the evening. Overall we had a good stay and would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again.

So the hotel does not have a camera and some reason somebody got to the room and stole money and watch and we went to the front desk. We need to see camera in the hallway and they said they don’t have a camera so I would never recommend it’s unsecure.

The Inn was decorated like an Old Savannah house, clean and our room had a balcony over River St. and the River. The View was so nice. Staff was helpful and we walked 5 minutes to so many great restaurants.

The hotel was in the perfect area if you have one night in Savannah. It was a little bit rundown and there was construction going on the room was clean. However, when you open the doors to the cabinets, the floor was full of dust, and there were holes where they used to be Things in the shower . It needs a little bit of TLC, but the staff were amazing and helpful and the location cannot be met.
