This spacious apartment is located on the second floor and boasts with light, only steps away from Calhoun Square and one block from the city's largest green space, Forsyth Park. Furnished with modern accents, inviting white shiplap from ceiling to floor, and sliding barn doors, this unit is ideal for the distinguished traveler. The living space offers a full-size sleeper sofa, a high-top table perfect for enjoying a morning cup of joe, and full size kitchen for all of your needs. The bedroom features a Queen size bed, with en-suite bathroom, off of the main living space. The bathroom offers a spacious standing shower, and large vanity with plenty of storage. Just a block away from the Fountain at Forsyth Park, this gorgeous carriage house is also a short walk from other Savannah attractions, such as: Mrs. Wilkes Dining Room, shopSCAD, and Alex Raskin Antiques. Head North towards the river for a romantic promenade through the squares. Be sure to stop at our favorite local spots along the way, including: Adam Turoni Chocolates, Collins Quarter, and The Paris Market. What is parking like for this home? Parking for this home is on-street and metered, which is enforced by the City of Savannah from Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. Guests may conveniently pay using the ParkSavannah app, feed the meter or parking kiosks directly, or park on a nearby non-metered street. Also, you can't turn the bathroom fan off. It came on after being turned off after about a minute which created some excessive noise while trying to sleep. This place was perfectly suited for my needs- clean, comfortable as convenient to literally EVERYWHERE I needed to go. There’s not an outdoor space, but there is a lovely park just half a block away to enjoy your morning coffee. Plenty of restaurants, bars and shops within walking distance and the riverfront is less than a twenty minute walk away. However, the hospitality of the place far exceeded our expectations. We were able to leave our bags at the office of Lucky Savannah until check-in so that we had freedom to roam and play all afternoon. Once inside the cozy apartment, we enjoyed cold water from the Brita pitcher. Also the bed linens were very high quality. And the sleeper sofa was more comfortable than most. When we called after hours to request more blankets for the sleeper sofa they brought them within an hour. All emails were timely and very friendly. I initially rented a one unit apartment and changed to this apartment when my sister and husband decided to join me. My only regret is that I didn’t plan to stay longer!! We enjoy the 3/4 mile walk through the historic district and small quaint parks to get to the river front and City Market. Comfortable, clean, and great location. This small 1 bedroom carriage house was just right for our 3 day stay. No view from the apartment, but we only used it to sleep and rest from our walks to the shopping and eating at the river and our walks in Forsyth Park under the oaks and around the fountain. ##### Eric B. It was small but sufficient enough for the 2 of us. The light coming in from street lamps at night was brutal. We had to hang clothes on hangers from blinds to keep it out. A/C units did not work properly. They did have a very loud portable unit that helped. ##### Christine N. Beautiful property & perfect for our long weekend getaway. Walking distance to all of downtown. Would stay again & recommend. Only a few small cons. The bedroom windows have street lights outside of them so the room is very bright all night long. Would help a lot to get thicker shades/blinds. The bed is comfortable but any slight movement it squeaks very loudly waking us at night. The home proved perfect for our Birthday/Mother's weekend getaway. The location is excellent in close proximity to everything. We enjoyed restaurants such as Public, Hitch (Treylor Park) - "hi Keely", and Clary's for breakfast - "thanks Rich". ##### John P.
