Convenient location! Right across from Riverstreet. Best continental breakfast. Loved the large open dining area and a good variety of food to choose from. Staff was pleasant and friendly. Room was very clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

They hotel did not have air-conditioning in the rooms for our entire stay and from my understanding they didn't have it for several days prior to our stay and we were not informed until we checked it and that was also later then the 4pm check in.

We were not told at check in that the air conditioning was not working in any of the rooms. We arrived at 7:30pm, left our luggage quickly and went to dinner. When we arrived at 12am to our room, it was very hot!!! We could not sleep that way. When we went to the front desk we were told by a different employee that none of the a/c units in the rooms are working since last week. They gave us a room at the hampton inn across the street which was very nice and cold. But it was very inconvenient to change rooms and pack up all of our stuff at 1am with an older person and child. Not something you want to deal with on vacation.

I loved the location, most shops, museums, restaurants and sights were within walking distance. The employees were wonderful. The included breakfast buffet was decent too. The common areas were clean and well apponted. The bedding was clean and comfortable. The mattress was firm, but not too hard. We slept very well. The view is awesome from the upper floors! The only negative was that the AC was not functioning for our stay. The 1st night was very hot in our room, but i was given a fan to use for the 2nd night, so we were much more comfortable. I would recommended staying here and i will definitely stay again in the future!

The air conditioning was broken and the first night was very hot and hard to sleep. Also, I paid extra for a room on a high floor but was put in one on the 2nd floor. They did move me to the 5th floor the next day and gave me a $100 discount.

The good: Clean and well organized hotel. Excellent location. Everything is within walking distance. Public parking at lowest cost next door. Modern, like other HI Express we noticed. Not so good: Small room but functional. Very common in mid city hotels. No view from the small window. Most rooms have this problem I think. (rm 301) No maid service.

There was no hair dryer in the room. It took 3 request to get one. It looked like it was straight out of the 80's, heavy and lots of dust in the screen area.
