Definitely not what I was expecting. The hotel is extremely dated and a virtual ghost town. I paid for two nights in advance and was so disappointed, I packed up and went to a hotel I'm familiar with in the historic district. Forty extra dollars a night and very well worth it.

The King room was a very spacious room - almost a suite. The property and room were clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly, though sparse. The gym was minimal but usable - a second treadmill would be nice. Breakfast was minimal - eggs, sausage and waffles on the hot side; toast, muffins and cold cereal and yogurt for the cold breakfast. Oddly the only fruit ever available according to the staff is apples - not even bananas for the cereal. A healthy vegan option would be nice - even plain oatmeal. Fortunately there is an Kroger's across the street. Overall the price was right and it was a very pleasant stay.

Hotel was clean, quiet, has comfortable beds and nice linens. Hotel could use a facelift (it is older). Rooms are large! Decent hot breakfast. Staff was professional and friendly. No big complaints for staying here. Just a note, It is not close to historic downtown (5 miles away).
