We do as I am sure you know mention on all booking engines, our website and pre arrival information that is sent to you clearly state that the hotel does not have a lift, and ask our guests to let us know if this poses an issue. I note that the deluxe room that you were allocated was on the 2nd floor, had we known prior to your arrival that you did not want to use the stairs, we would have allocated you a different room to accommodate your needs. I have shared your breakfast feedback with the breakfast team. They would like to point out that if guests request extra items on the full breakfast regularly, had you notified your server when they were taking your order, as everything is cooked fresh to order, they would have been more than happy to add extras for you. I'm sorry if you did not feel that you were able to do this. We have a fantastic gardener who works with us to maintain our beautiful gardens, not being very green fingered myself, I have passed on your comments re the flower beds. As a team we are very friendly and approachable, had any of your issues been raised during your stay, we would have done everything possible to rectify.I do hope that with this information in mind, your next stay with us will be more enjoyable. I'm sorry to hear that you found your room stuffy, I have passed this onto the housekeeping team and they will be looking into this further. I do believe that part of the issue causing this is the scaffolding at the rear of the building. We had been promised that it was to be removed as soon as the work had been completed, but as yet this is not the case. With regards to any extras of teas coffees etc, both of us on reception have a full stock of these to issue out on request, I'm sorry if this was not explained correctly to you on arrival.
