"The house is directly in the nature. It is in a valley, so you should have some driving skills, since the driveway is pretty steep. Around the house you will find your "garden". It is really big, so you will need about half an hour to walk around everything. There even is a little creek, so you can cool your feet. At the property there live a small cute and cosy cat, sheep and 2 big dogs (they are very nice and happy to have visitors). It is calming to have the dogs around, since in the night...

"The house is lovely. We particularly loved the outside kitchen, dining and lounge area and we used this a great deal. The pool was also great. The house is in a good location in a small hamlet but there are no facilities there so you do need to drive everywhere. It is about 20min drive to Coimbra which is a very pretty old city and definitely worth a visit. The Atlantic coast is about 45min drive where there are beautiful long sandy beaches. The only downside for us was the proximity to the A13...

Un point négatif toutefois: contrairement à l'annonce il n'y a qu'une salle d'eau (la deuxième pièce est constitué d'un WC avec un lavabo) et non deux ce qui aurait été un problème si nous étions venus à 4 avec un enfant. "I really appreciate it the seclusion and quiet along with the lovely stone elements that were retained in the remodeling of these old villas. Receptionist was helpful. There was no air conditioning but it was surprisingly cool when we kept the doors closed and the fan running. Suggestions: screens on doors to allow air without flies, more kitchen supplies (towels, dish rack), extra fan, easier parking, one morning Nespresso catridges...villa is very far from shopping."
