The property was in a beautiful location on top of a mountain served well by local buses. The room we had was large but open plan with shower and toilet. The shower was amazing hot and powerful. Electrics in the room were dodgy .And being out of season the pool and hottub were not available which would have been nice to know before booking. The fireplace was not useable. We were given a heater that worked well. Overall we had a lovely stay it was what we needed a break from normal life , peaceful .

Was an amazing stay only gave 4 stars for property because the double bed are two single beds pressed together. They moved around constantly but the saving grace was 2 double duvets. Only thing stoping this being a perfect stay. Breakfast was great, very clean, polite staff. Would deffo recommend to others and stay here again.

"Our host João was very kind and helpful. The property was very good and was as described in the listing. It included all the facilities that we needed and was located a 10 minute walk away from Central Funchal. All in all it served as a lovely base to explore the rest of Madeira from."
