"This was a beautiful, historic property. The balcony, river view was worth every penny! The only possible complaint is that the carpet is a bit worn in the room but that’s all I can think of to point out "

"It was worth every cent! The bed was ultra comfortable, the staff could not have been friendlier. If we ever go back to Porto we will stay there again!"

"Great location, friendly staff and beautiful aesthetic in the room, restaurant and lobby. Walking distance to everything. Paid underground parking down the road for 50€ a day. "

"Gem in the city center! A hotel with history and beauty! A place I use to stay when I was a child and has withstand the test of time…if only the walls could talk…It has been renovated and the beds are heavenly!"

"Located just outside Espinho, but around a 2km walk along the broadwalk, which you can access at the rear of the hotel. Or a little bit more than 2km if you go via the main road, but with wide sidewalks. Uber here is the cheapest I’ve seen so around £5. The beach outside the hotel is rocky, but another 5 min walk to the left, you can find a sandy area.
We arrived early and was allowed to make use of the facilities until our room was ready at 4pm.
The staff were top notch and made us feel very welcome.
The breakfast was included and had a great selection.
The room was a good size and cleaned everyday.
This hotel is across from a Lidl supermarket incase you need to grab anything.
I’ll also like to mention there are 2 saltwater pools but for indoor one, please pack your swim cap. There are plenty of chairs available indoor and outdoors.
There is a hotel shuttle that takes you into Porto at 10am each morning if you want to go do some historical and wine tasting tours. If you are into casinos Espinho also has a casino.
I would definitely stay here again!
