"Permai is fantastic, we had a treehouse and enjoyed waking up to monkeys and bird song each morning. It is a perfect place to just relax and do nothing or book some tours from. The staff were all lovely and helpful, if driving us themselves to catch a late afternoon boat trip. We extended our stay another night as we loved it so much."

"I have to say the pool area with the mangroves in the background is stunning , especially at low tide. Within five minutes of our arrival we saw a pair of sea eagles and a collared Kingfisher. The restaurant had a great range of options, cooked to a high standard and the staff were very friendly. The room was large and airy with a decent balcony. My only issue is with the glass doors on the toilet and shower. No one wants to have to send their other half onto the balcony so they can use...
