"Our stay in Batalha could have started out poorly as William notified us the night before our arrival that our reservation had not recorded properly, and there was no availability for our first night. He quickly made the situation right by finding us a great hotel in town for the first night. Olive Hill is as nice as it looks in the photos, and clearly William is cut out for his second career in hospitality. We’d definitely stay there again."

"Such a fun town. Kevin was great with communication prior to check in. Only drawback was that the air conditioning wasn't working and that wasn't disclosed to us until checkin, hense the 3* on description. Nicola, the property mgr. was great to accommodate with fans. "Sao Martinho is a jewel of a town and this place is close walking distance to everything. When the sun’s out, you couldn’t ask for a better place. Great yard with parking. Since it rained quite a bit during our stay, it dampened our visit. Again, we went during the off-season. Scott is very attentive and accommodating. Will go back to this place."

"What a lovely home, with extraordinary views of the ocean. Our group of 4 couples was able to settle in easily, with all of the necessary comforts. During our stay, we enjoyed the nearby trail to the beach and the extensive walking/running trail along the main road. The kitchen was well equipped and we cooked many meals there. "Situated within a two minute walk from the shrine of Fatima, this hotel is most conveniently placed, with a wonderful breakfast buffet. Room was spacious, bright and clean, beds maybe a little firmer than I would like, but this I find is normal in Europe. Black out drapes ensure a dark, quiet restful environment. Front staff is kind, courteous, and most helpful Lots of parking, there is an underground, which we used as we were there for a couple of nights, but beware the narrow drive in, we had a small SUV and the vehicle alarms were screaming at me on the way down.
