"Misleading advertisement and management didn’t respond when we complained.
I booked a cabin via hotels.com at Finca el Mazo for my family including our two young children. It was advertised as being family friendly with lots of activities including swimming pool, football, games room and basketball. When we arrived, it was apparent there was an organised camp of maybe 100 teenagers including a stage, amplifiers, loud music and cheering etc. While this caused us no distress during the daytime,...

Nice little hotel. Very central. Free parking which is unusual in northern Spain. The best thing about the hotel, tho, are the staff. Wally and Eveline are very warm, friendly, and engaging people. Always smiling and ready to help. We requested a small fridge in our room and it arrived immediately. We asked for an ice pack to be frozen for our cooler when we travelled on and it was done. Very accomodating. And they both soeak perfect english.

This is a simple and charming hotel in a great neighbourhood, close but not in the centre of the city, very walkable and safe. My room was extremely clean, the bed was comfortable and the room had everything I needed. The included breakfast was in the restaurant that is part of the hotel and it was great, with fresh squeezed orange juice, excellent coffee and I chose the Spanish tortilla every morning and it was one of the best tortillas I’ve had in Spain, in a very warm and friendly restaurant...

The rooms are small but very well thought out so there is room for everything, the internet is strong and the gym is very good and includes dumb bells and a cold filtered water station.

The hotel is a historic building right opposite the train station. The room is beautifully decorated, there is tea and coffee making facilities. 6 to 8 mins walk to the harbour front and city center.
