Clean and well equipped bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff. Fan unit in living/kitchen area struggled to keep apartment cool on hot nights - no working air conditioning. Other guests regularly left main door to the residence unlocked despite notices not to do so. However the door to our apartment locked securely and we did not have any problems. The apartment was quiet through the night with closed windows. Very well situated for transport links and city. The room is well thought out and designed.. Very comfortable. The hotel is in the center of town and walking distance to food and entertainment. Parking a car is a bit of a headache so avoid that if you can. The air conditioning was inadequate. It was a mobile air conditioning unit placed in the living room. It's summertime and the air didn't reach the room. The hotel was a renovated first-floor flat, with cute one bedroom suites, fully furnished kitchenette (even washing machine and dishwasher), bathroom, and a living/dining area with a queen size sofa bed. Each suite was themed for one of the continents, with smart and inexpensive decor. Very clean and practical, right in the center of town, a couple of minutes walk from the waterfront, and right in the middle of Santander's social life. It was perfect and right on the price. The manager was very polite, attentive, and efficient, and so was the cleaning service. It had some old-building quirks, nothing that would not be easily managed. Service was great - we didn’t realize the reception had limited check in hours but the lady was very welcoming when we came in at 8pm. She spoke limited English but we managed to understand each other. For parking you need to first get a parking card from her and then you can proceed to park at the residents carpark, which is very helpful because parking in the city center can be a nightmare. Very central location.
