    The Space:

    This ground-floor, gulf front condo features spectacular views of beautiful Seagrove Beach. Walk right out of your living room to lounge on your own private patio. A few more steps and you'll be directly on the beach. The open-concept living area is furnished with a large flatscreen TV and DVD player and the dining area comfortably seats four with two additional seats at the granite kitchen countertop. You'll find the large kitchen is equipped with all the appliances and utensils you'll need to put on a culinary showstopper for your guests.



    What’s nearby:

    Lots of great restaurants pepper the area surrounding this awesome home. Three miles away, stroll through Seaside and catch a sunset at Bud and Alley’s. (Hint: if you can guess the time of the sunset, you'll get a free drink!) Have lunch at one of many Airstream food trucks or get the Grits à Ya Ya at Great Southern Café. The local favorite, Old Florida Fish House, is less than one mile away.

Ok so I went into this rental with speculation because I read some poor reviews about Avari. However, Avari was great to deal with. I was able to get in touch with them easily, and I had a lady from Avari contact me one day because the water was going to be turned off for a repair at Eastern Shores. She was very kind and courteous! There were a few times I had to communicate with Avari via the VRBO app, and they responded quickly. Now for the bad part. This was our fifth stay at Eastern Shores - first time in this unit. The unit as a whole seemed clean, but it desperately needs some updating. The furniture, decor, kitchen supplies look like they are from the 80s - it almost seems like it is lost in time. When we arrived, we found a roach in the silverware drawer and saw roaches 3 additional times. The couch is small and not comfortable and has stains all over it - so much so, we covered it with a blanket we brought from home. We love Eastern Shores - particularly the first floor units where you walk out and are just five steps from the sand. However, we will probably not stay in this unit again unless the owners do some updating and restock the kitchen.
