With a privileged view over the sea and located in a calm area, this property is the perfect accommodation for your holidays on the Island of Madeira. Located in the municipality of Santa Cruz, this modern apartment is situated in the tranquil area of Gaula. With very well-maintained exteriors and a contemporary design, this accommodation encompasses the best of nature and comfort in one. Inside, the apartment is divided into 2 bedrooms, both with double beds, and they are the chosen spot to rest after a long walk or simply to relax with the sound of the waves. The bathroom is ideal for 4 people with a spacious walk-in shower so that you can relax and recharge your energy for another day. The kitchen, fully equipped with the most modern equipment, was designed in an open space, favouring the passage to the dining area. This area is perfect for enjoying a dinner or receiving friends with total safety and comfort that the local accommodation provides. The common leisure area is also spacious and receives natural light throughout the day as it has direct access to the balcony. On the outside, the view speaks for itself! Waking up with the sunrise over the sea or enjoying your balcony until sunset will be one of your favourite activities. Check-in was a little difficult since it was later than preferred (16:30) and had to meet an agent at property to get in. It was also not quite as well equipped as other properties I stayed at ... most notably a standard coffee maker. They had a nice pod coffee maker, but this needed specific pods we didn't have. Also, there was a small 1 cup perculator coffee pot for the stove, which we used, but the one cup capacity made it difficult. The basics for cooking were there ... a few small items such as a small sauce pan would be helpful. All in all, we enjoyed our stay though! Es hat auch viele Kleinigkeiten, um die man froh ist, wie z Bsp ein Wäscheständer, eine Bügelbrett...Da nur wenige Flugzeuge starten und landen, hat uns der Lärm nicht gross gestört. Leider hatte es keine Liegestühle und die Matratzen waren für uns viel zu hart. Der Parkplatz in der Garage ist wegen der Wärme toll, leider habe ich wegen der eng stehenden Säulen trotz aller Vorsicht, den Lack des Autos zerkratzt.
