Big and Bright, Steps to Sand, Ocean Views, and Sleeps 8+

Home is located in the very desirable Sand Dollar Beach community; away from the bar scene. This is the perfect spot for families or a romantic getaway. You will be less than 200 paces to sand and surf down our paved and gently sloping community beach access footpath.

The home is a real gem; remodeled in 2018 and located just 6 houses from sand and surf. Beautiful high vaulted ceilings, magnificent giant fireplace and over 2,100 square feet of living space. You will love how bright and airy this home is; providing both large open spaces, as well as cozy nooks for private reading and relaxing.

The reverse floor-plan, provides views of the ocean from kitchen, family room and master bedroom. A second 'bonus' area located downstairs provides a great escape for the children or peaceful relaxation spot.

In addition, a spacious outdoor deck is a great place to relax, enjoy a fine meal at the outdoor dining table, take in the ocean view or simply enjoy the ocean's breeze.


The home is stocked with the latest amenities and kitchen necessities. This lovely home is very spacious, comfortably sleeps 9. (one king, one queen, two twins, one full futon, plus a single roll-a-way bed)

Sand Dollar Beach community is located 10 minutes from Santa Cruz and 20 minutes from Monterey. It is part of California's Manresa State Beach Coastline, close to world famous Seascape Resort, just North of Pajaro Dunes .

What a great house! We enjoyed the amazing kitchen stocked with lots of equipment. The rooms were very comfortable and the views amazing. We also enjoyed the room divisions. A dining area, a conversation/reading area and a TV area. We used it all! About 100 steps down to the water so we got our exercise. We strolled the neighborhood in the evenings which was very fun.

The beach house was perfect for a getaway with my family. It was close enough to hear the waves crashing at night and just a short walk down the hill to the beach. Our kids especially loved the retro Pac Man game and all the beach toys and chairs were provided. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful beach home great for families

Lovely spacious living area, master suite and well equipped kitchen upstairs. Smaller sleep spaces by entry downstairs. Foosball in the garage and Pac-Man video game were fun surprises for our family. A great beach home for groups or families who can walk down the many steps to access beach.

The house was clean and had everything we needed for our 4 day stay. A short walk to beach included a steep grade and a 50 step stair. Quiet neighborhood, deck with ocean view, comfortable bed, spacious main bedroom on upper floor.Enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

Difficult beach access

Loved the house and amenities. Foos ball and pac man kept the kids entertained and the open upstairs area has multiple seating areas. Getting to the beach was not as expected. It’s very steep stairs or walkway. Anyone with any kind of walking impairment couldn’t get to the beach. But once you’re there it’s is a great beach with fire pits and lots of sandy area.

What a wonderful place for a girls weekend! We have been friends for over 40 years. The property was spotless, very comfortable, beautiful view and easy walk to beach. Would love to come back again. The drip coffee pot was not working well. The keruig was perfect. Plenty of dishes and pots and pans to make excellent meals. Joe was very responsive to questions.

Amazing Beach

Our girls trip was a huge success! We enjoyed the beach access and the long stretch of walkable sand. The kitchen is well equipped with everything we needed to cook for a group. This house is close enough to Santa Cruz and Capitola for day trips or a nice dinner out. I recommend this house for groups of 6 or less.

Wonderful home in La Selva with scenic ocean views! Comfortable and close to the beach and neighboring cities. Fully furnished and appointed for a wiry free stay. Property owners were very accommodating to our early arrival request. Great communication.

Relaxing

Loved listening to the sounds of the ocean in the comfort of this home. It's a little walk down to the beach, albeit hilly, but not too difficult for the young at heart. If you need to drive older ones, it's only 5 min or less to the other beach access. Very relaxing time!

The absolute best home we have ever stayed in because of the host!

Joe is the kindest, most communicative and patient host we have ever come across. The check in process was perfect as he put on the outside lights due to our flights being delayed several hours. The home was well equipped with food, beach supplies, and hygiene essentials. He also provided quick flexibility for checking out later than the usual time and responding almost instantly. He’s a true mensch.

Great location! Great stay! We had a wonderful time at the property! The house had everything we needed! 2 min walk to an essentially private beach at La Selva beach which we loved! Clean! Open, bright living room area. 45 min to the Monterey bay aquarium. 15-20 min to Capitola. Easy communication with the manager. Thanks for a great stay!
