Oltrarno5 nights5.0 star property8.8/10 - Excellent (449 reviews)"The property was lovely. A former 15th(?) century monastery located on a hilltop overlooking parts of Florence. Surrounded by olive and fruit trees, and gardens. It's past the Roman gate, about a 30 euro cab ride from the center of town. Though they didn't tell us until we asked, there's a shuttle that will take you down the hill to the Roman Gate where taxis and busses can be found. We arrived just after the hotel restaurant had closed for the afternoon by a minute. They were kind/professional..."Reviewed November 6, 2026Roundtrip • Toronto (YYZ) - Florence (FLR)YYZ - FCO • 2 stops FCO - YYZ • 1 stopCA $3,248CA $2,492found 1 day agoper traveller - Bernini Palace

Villa Sant Andrea
Villa Sant Andrea"This place is a gem in Tuscany. Close to Sienna, Florence and other interesting places in Tuscany. Breakfast buffet is excellent and cappuccino and espresso coffee is awesome. Maria and Chiara are very friendly and had great recommendations what to see and best way to visit busy places. Highly recommended."
La Certosa di Pontignano - Place of Charme
La Certosa di Pontignano - Place of Charme"Endroit magnifique et bien situé pour visiter la région."
"Giacomo, co-owner of the property, was so kind to give us some basic education and guidance for Siena which helped us navigate and understand the city better. Parking was plentiful and the open view from the property was beautiful. I was fortunate enough to meet a Swedish lady who told me that this was her third stay at the property. Breakfast was wonderful and very local European-style rather than American. You can enjoy indoors or outdoors. We thoroughly enjoyed our 25th wedding anniversary...
Four Points by Sheraton Siena
Four Points by Sheraton Siena"Property seem reasonable, staff helpful, rooms are little small and dated, bathrooms need renovation."
"Bedroom was renovated, clean and spacious. Breakfast was good and with many options. Parking spots at the hotel are very limited and made for small cars. Location is great, close to train station and walking distance of the old town and main square."
"Nice modern business hotel with spacious rooms. Mine had a balcony too. Plenty of parking on site. I ate in the restaurant which was good and reasonably priced. It’s a bit out of the way, so definitely not somewhere to explore Siena on foot by!"
