This is not a typical hotel where there is a lobby or staff to greet you . Instead it is a set of apartments in a corner building . The person who let us in was awaiting for us at the door at check in. Breakfast was serve in a buffet style . Staff would ask if you would order something else if you like. Continental breakfast is available .Overall it was comfortable and easy to find . Shops and restaurants are all walking distance.

you have to enter before it closes as it is operated as a museum. Many of the churches in Italy have managed to become museums with limited access to Catholic worshipers. This goes against about 2000 years of tradition in the faith.

Well worth the trip to Siena. Such a quaint town. They were preparing for the big horse race they have each summer which might be worth booking to be there during that time to see.
