It is very quiet and you can sleep peacefully. The rooms are quite basic, no fridge, soap stuffs, but it is still a great lodge. "From the seamless check in no hassle when you arrive to the brand new, freshly renovated suites, this place is perfect and absolutely spotlessly clean. They have on site parking and a super convenient location near the train station, and it's walkable from everywhere restaurants, shops, the whole thing. My suite was fully stocked with utensils, a washer and detergent, and the Wi Fi was actually fast! Can't wait to come back!"

I pre-booked for two people, finally I went alone but they told me that I had to pay breakfast and taxes for two. "Stayed 2 nights. Positives: Late arrival (22:30) was accommodated despite reception normally closing at 21:00 — appreciated. Good breakfast. Comfortable beds. Nice views from the property overall. Negatives: Pool access: key card did not work; when raised, staff insisted it did rather than resolving the issue. Room facilities: no tea/coffee, no water provided, and fridge not functioning. Ventilation: no effective ventilation, making the room uncomfortable in warm conditions. Temperature control: central heating still active with no ability to adjust, despite ~24°C outside. Bathroom: bath only, no shower — not practical, particularly for elderly guests. Room quality: no balcony, view onto car park, and overall lack of comfort or atmosphere (minimal décor, dated feel). Room allocation: the room felt like one that is used less frequently, raising questions about consistency in how rooms are assigned (e.g. weekday vs weekend stays). Overall: At ~€240 per night, the experience does not align with a 4-star standard. While higher-category rooms (e.g. suites) may meet expectations, the “standard” rooms fall below the minimum level of quality and comfort expected at this rating. "Great experience- unique hotel - staff was excellent for service and provided great area tourist info. The location is great- in a small town, but parking is inside the hotel boundaries. We really enjoyed the terrace with a great view of the Danube- great place to sip and watch the river boats float by. Breakfast was very good as well- made to order items along with buffet items. Although this is a more expensive hotel, it was worth it."
